hi black sorry for not getting back to you and all of you lovely ppl on here, had a rather distrubing instance with a can of diat coke and my macbook :-( Its fantastic to know somebody from here from stoke, I'm sure you could probably track me down easily as there are not many websits models use and even less that are from stoke hehe. I dont profess to have a briliant following, I'm a BBW with about 13k followers on twitter, not many compared to some girls out there, But being on the curvy side I dont think I do bad. I do like my job, (i used to be an escort girl for about a year but that was not for me at all) so all and all i am happy doing naked massage, but i do worry, your only as good as your compitition and even though im 26 there will always be younger and prettyer girls out there, I always make sure I save hard, as I had a very bad flu and was in bed for 6 weeks last year, ever since Iv always had double what i make in a month just incase. Iv had a few ideas so far. One - Set up a massage parlour haha, 2 - try and invest some way 3 - Buy some sort of buiesness where I can employ a manager of some sort. Thats about it!0

I've not had much time free over here and it's just getting worse but will sit down and read those links if I find myself twiddling my thumbs this week.
Just wanted to update I went along to the homeless group shoot it wasn't amazing but it was an experience but I wouldn't do it again for sure. I took a photo of two guys and one of the woman in background came barrelling up to me demanding I delete the photo as I had took it without her permission which to be fair to me, instead of standing their in shock that someone was shouting at me like I usually do (then think of a witty reply afterwards ofc!) I walked straight up to her showed her the back of my camera and deleted them for her and showed her they were gone.
I thought originally being homeless some might not of wanted photos being done so I was prepared for it and did ask in most cases but to be fair she was background and quite far back not just behind them so it really wasn't one of those moments I could of said wait their and gone and said is it ok if you are in the background? And she even walked off saying that if I had asked of course I could of had a photo but not without her permission...so it really was a 'just cause' moment.
Unfortunately it shook me up a bit though and I was being extra careful with my photos after that and one time the main guy wanted me to take a photo with this woman in it but he was like don't worry I'll stand in front of her and I just said no don't worry about it and didn't and I think I missed out on a couple good photo shots after that purely because my confidence took a hit.
So just to sum that up ~ it did me the world of good and overall I feel much more confident but purely for safety I wouldn't go out again as I just didn't feel safe..95% of it was fine but it only takes 1 or 2 people.
The wedding is just under 3 weeks away so I will most likely go AWOL...still not sure what I am doing with my business may close it down for week, may put it on holiday mode so people can still buy stuff but it's not the best solution as not everyone notices the holiday mode...possibility of leaving my Mum to do it but tbf it's a bit of a learning curve and with my next working day postage times I'm not sure she could keep up..my dad would know what to do with a briefing as he works with photoshop but he most likely wouldn't because he has his own business and interests but he's the only one I would really trust...my mums great but I would be worried about it if I left it with her.
If I close down it's not just the weeks profit it will affect my place in listing for future sales so it's a bit iffy...but leave holiday mode on and I'll most likey be in for some irate messages from customers #sigh.
Keep us updated on the houses!!! Can't wait for my first B2L ...although it may be a couple years or so yet!
Eta: I do want to get more experience working with different people so I'm debating putting a free location shoot on and seeing how I get on but perhaps after the wedding! Could offer to do family but I feel like I need the experience more with people I don't know...it's also not so much the photography but the dealing with customers face to face and being that fun loving photographer they want to come back to...which I have to admit I'm going to have to find the inner fun me as I feel to 'Mum' then my old happy self if that makes sense to anyone lol!People don't know what they want until you show them.0 -
Kaya, you've been looking forward to your wedding for a long time, naturally - let yourself have the pleasure of it, please! In the long run, a couple of extra weeks off around such an important time in your life just won't matter financially, and the extra energy and focus on what's *really* important will help you.
All the best!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I second Karmas advice. Kaya just enjoy your wedding and then worry about other stuff later. Don't short change yourself and ruin it all by being stressed about your business, letting it take a backseat for aweek or two won't wreck the master plan.
I also think that you seem to have reached an impasse so maybe it's a good idea to take a step back and just mull things over.
Ive decided to let the dream house pass. A hard decision but it was reeally a bit of a stretch too far. I'm sure there will be another opportunity. It is on a small development and I know that a couple of them are rented out, so I'm sure there will be otthers on the market At some point. If not, well something out there will have my name on it.
I have decided it's best to - pardon the pun - lay good foundations and build up my property empire first, before indulging myself in dream homes.
Delayed gratification and all that.......
So..... Putting an offer in for the apartment today...just a waiting game now.
It's a nice modern apartment, two beds, two baths on the top floor. Not the best views of the city but the location is very popular and fetches good rents.
Feeling a bit disappointed about the house but I think its for the best.
This time next year...........:rotfl:
A couple of £25 wins on the premium bonds this morning so it's not all doom and gloom.
Just got to stay positive and keep my eye on the prize.;)
A nice house to live in, double my current passive income and a sassy little convertible.
It's doablle if I put my mind to it.0 -
Ooh, I like your description of your goals LL, thats great!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

I second that:T
A sassy little convertible! Oh, yes please:j.
I'm not on the millionaire route, just battling my way out of mountainous debts:o but somehow, by unaccountable serendipity, I came across this thread at the very beginning of it. I read it with joy, it never ceases to inspire:T. Can you hear me cheering you all on?
My realistic car goal would be a 6 year old low-mileage hatchback and even that is a fair way down the road (excuse the pun:rotfl:).0 -
Hi everyone
See Carboot is an early bird this morning. The sun is shining and ive woken early too.
Carboot don't worry - ive been following your progress and you are doing well with your £10 a day challenge. Just keep at it and you'll soon bust the debt. Once you've done that then you can start creating wealth. You'll be surprised how once you get going those savings really start to grow.
And I currently drive a little hatchback,, on Sunday it was used to pick up a diswashwasher that someone had kindly gifted to DS1. I doubt it would have fitted into a convertible.....
I still have £5k of debt but it's on a 0 per cent credit card so ive not bothered to pay it off. I'll clear it when the interest free period ends. It may as well earn me 3 per cent in my Santander account in the meantime.
Ive been feeling a bit fed up recently. I suppose its just part of the grieving process but i definitely feel that ive lost my mojo. I need to find it pronto.
Ive decided that the best thing to do is just work my way through it, doing fairly easy mundane tasks which don't require a lot of thought.
So......this last couple of evenings I have been tackling the mountain of my parents paperwork. Oh lord what a task. still ive only got one box left.
I hate mess and clutter, I find it overwhelming and it seems to just sap my energy. However I can't just scoop it up and turf it out, it has to been gone through with a fine tooth Combe because I know mum was like a little squirrel. Ive found all sorts of little gems hidden away.
Ive found a few rare British and Irish coins which I will keep And then a stash of foreign currency which I will trade in. The foreign currency is not especially valuable so theres no point in keeping it.
Then basically its just mums kitchen and of course dads sheds and the outbuildings  the cottage still hasn't sold but I'm not really tempted. It's time to move on, not cling to the past.
We should hear whether the offer on the flat has been accepted some time today.
Went to,ikea last week and bought a couple of free standing shelving units for the study and my bedroom. Hoping to,get them assembled today. Once they are done then I can have one final declutter and sort out. Ive got some bags for the chazza shop, a couple of boxes for ebay etc and a few bits for the auction house.
Im hoping that once ive dealt with all the clutter and have cleared my parents house I can finally move on and start rebuilding my own life.
And of course, get down to business.......:D0 -
Mmm, BB, unless you're in a very specialist field - pension age will be quite a bit north of 60 for you, as a 33 year old. I'm 60 now, and my pension age is 66 ....
Sorry.
are you talking about the state pension?
everything ive read up to now suggests i can access my private pension at 55. Ive gone for 60 as i thought they might change it by the time im that age.
happy to be corrected if im wrong. I havnt done too much research on the subject as its quite a bit in the distance for me.0 -

Good for you for planning so actively :j2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Yes I was

more day dreaming, than planning!
having one of those days today where if i was more or less at FI i might just walk out on work today and see how it turns out. (long way off yet!!)
everyone on my team starts early, has less than their hour for lunch and stays late. Up til now ive managed to get my work done in my salaried time. Starting to feel the pressure of putting in a few extra shifts now though. Flexi time is builtup from doing it so its not like working for free.. But in my mind i should be able to get the job done in the 7 hours the day is long.
left a builder in my house unsupervised today too. I guess that's on my mind a little as well. Im not a massive accumulator of stuff so my theory is... If he finishes the job but robs all my stuff I'll probably about break even.
just realised the bank holiday brings pay day forward to Friday and so if i spend no more than the £18 in my pocket i will definitely be on for a a saving rate of 50%. Good times.0
