  • Its been a crazy work morning but guess what was in the bank!!!

My planned "get ahead with the monthly bills" is bang tidy!

Ive got breathing space so I am going to pay a lumper to my vodafone then update my sig and then I will be back to report.

Love having the support, meant so much, have been so flat with it all! Payday this week too, more money against debt!

  • WOOOOHOOOO!!! :j:j:j:j:j
  • I am so so releived. I have caught right up with everything and have masses of breathing space. I am also going to be able to get money put aside for the bathroom refit at the other house - although I have just put half of it aside in the first instance.

The money was sitting in my account, cheekily this morning.

This months rent is paid, before payday. So my husband will pay the rent to his credit card as usual, and it will sit there for 4 weeks.... in the meantime I will be paying ahead to the credit cards anyway. Amex is paid. Food, coal and electricity budgets for the next month are sorted, dinner money and bus fare for DD2 sorted. And all before payday. I want to be in this position next month but with the childcare and petrol fully sorted before payday too.My christmas fund and holiday fund for february are the only ones I am carrying over.

I have a savings pot for cars, home improvements and other things too, and thats had a bit money put in it!

Tomorrow should have a paypal payment through, Thursday is Tax credits, and then on Friday its payday.

    All rather spiffing.

Just as well as DD2 was a rat bag last night. I swear to god, I could wring her scraggy neck at times. She thinks she can out kid me. What is this American teenager television? No. This is the real world love, where no teenager can outsmart a keyed up mother.

Rubbing muck in the knees of your jeans doesnt mean you fell over. And no, it doesnt take half an hour to walk home from your friends, it takes 5 minutes. Home by 7 does not mean brought home by Grandad who caught you at half 7 as he knew I would be worried, and the fact I can get the truth out of your friends retrospectively does not mean your friends grassed you up, it means they are scared of me.

So therefore you were sent to bed on 2 slices of toast not the meal I prepared for 7pm, which was spanish tray bake with salad.
You wont starve, but you will think twice about lying to your mother again.
Oh the folly of youth. I told her older sister about it, and her quote was "oh mam, she doesnt realise how good you are at finding out, she will learn"

haha. Its cos I did it all too. But shhh dont tell them.
