    Hi Skint

I don't know you miss a couple of days cos work is busy and look what happens............you turn into a rich mutha!

Congratulations on your long awaited Lloyds windfall, looks like the priority list came good :D.

    Any more large amounts due?

Missed you about on here as well! Nice to see you back x

They have not sent the full claim, just the premiums and I am still waiting of the interest.

Well I am reclaiming another 5 lots of PPI, I am hardly rich though just not as on my oxters as I was!

Got some funds to do some work at the other house and more of a means to save to get more work done, so I am well happy.

Still doin my ebay and surveys like a woman possessed. :rotfl:

Did treat myself to a pack of sushi from tesco.

Me and OH will have a steak night but willl be shopping in Aldi just the same...

  • Who said me? I have 6 cats, I am sure I can train one of them to tout my placcy wares.

And another one to collect the money.

Was looking for DD1, she has a job in theatres but doesnt start for a month, and has a month without money, was looking for a quick win. not much in the quick win arena I am afraid.

Oh completely agree, I hate not having easy access to cash. I even keep a fiver hidden in my car!

Oddly enough, never have cash in my purse. No idea why.
  • I am so flaming tired and am at work and really need to get my teeth into a piece of work or 2... well I shall shortly.

Things are still on course to be fairly marvellous and easy this month but there are a couple of things which are bothering me.

My other half is a lovely man. BUT, he has asked for a small budget to buy books every month. This was a couple of days ago. Ok, thats fine he can have his budget, and today he has said he needs a new watch, it will cost about £20. Yesterday he said could he have a subscription to an online comic.

I am tired, and I am grouchy. But I never get any treats and it seems everyone else does. I had agreed to a steak night in celebration of the Lloyds win but it seems like this will slide, as I am not going to be in the mood.

DD2 has started senior school and the computer issue is a real issue. I use my laptop for ebay, the downstairs pc DS has taken to switching off at inopportune moments, and the decision has been made to get rid of her old sony crt television, and pop in a slimline wall mounted one (free from dad) and a pc (Dh has assembled from bits) and have this as a monitor / tv combination.

She has a sofa bed in her room which will be relocated to the other house. I need a wardrobe (she currently has a clothes rail) and a bookshelf. The desk we are being given. I know I am talking about 150 pounds for this lot, all in. So I am now saving.

Damnit, I am just huffy cos I am the only one who is doing completely without.

Time for tea and mars bar.
