Good luck with the extra money!

  • You know, its just worth a shot. And I would use it sensibly, not waste it. Perhaps I should put that as a PS on the letter.

Erm, I didnt need this insurance and if you are thinking of not paying it me back rest assured I will do something sensible with it, and not buy wine and chocolate, except on Fridays.

  • Can you clain all the ppi you paid out or will you just get some of it back? i never took anything like tht out after we got screwed on our first mortgage which was endowment. We got a really good financial advisor who told us we would never get paid out as were both self employed. Had the same problem with ins when hubby was illgot screwed over so we dont have ins for sickness no more as a waste the way our businesses set up. Just pay toc over mortgage and debts if one of us was to pop off. lovely sunday lunch chat!! have a good day and hope u screw them back for every single penny the scumbags.

  • Well its monday morning and the child benefit is in. This is the week of the mad birthday rush, DD1 (who is getting a savings bond) was yesterday, the husband is tomorrow and on Friday there is a brother in law.

Child benefit has been divvied out, and for the benefit of child there shall be new shoes for DD2 (I ordered her a winter coat from t'internet yesterday too, saving £30 on shop price) and a payment towards the childminding fees.

The husband has an insurance policy due to be paid from his account so Ive ensured that was covered too. Also needed some electric so have allowed a tenner for that.

    It all adds up.

The stopping smoking pot is almost overflowing, that will need to be paid into the bank at some point, and I will need to allocate it to the car fund.

My ebay (first lot not due to end til Wednesday) stands at a modest 28 pounds but its money for old rope. Ive a fab car seat and some other goodies to list this week. I will also be sorting some more stuff from the other house too, and this will generate more ebay listings.

I also want to sort my shoes out, and where some of these are only good enough for a charity bag others can be ebayed. Ive got some clothes too which I need to cull.

I will do a general declutter and sort - starting with my shelves and the other house.

Still waiting the Lloyds PPI payment into my bank account, today was the first day it could be in, if its not in on Thursday I get to ring them....

Todays focus, keep the car running tick all the boxes, get DD2 shoes, and keep swimming.

Oh and do masses of surveys and money saving while chasing PPI!!
