Thanks so much for the support and stuff ladies.:j And Gargrave, men are sent to try us. If we didnt love them we would have whacked them over the head with a spade by now.
And yes, you CAN do it, its all mapped out - there are no problems. Baby steps, and you will be there, earning wasses of cash, snags on the barbie and tinnies in the ute. A billabong on every corner, and matildas from Newsa to gold coast.:D
Makes me get itchy feet.... I did a year of round the worlding with the ex husband, didnt get to Australia, but did Saudi, South Africa, Texas, Dubai, and Spain. Just for work purposes, I gave up my career to further his - hey can pick that up anytime, its just a means to an end..... but you know, I made friends with lots of spiders.
I went to the Philipines 6 years ago with work too. It was nice, but that time it was only a business trip, not a relocation. Spiders there too.
At this time of year particularly, I begin to wish I was in sunnier climes... I really like spiders.._party_ (had a pet tarantula, and would love another one also had snakes singing cockroaches and giant stick insects....)
I am ashamed to say, I got home last night and had a mini breakdown._pale_ I am really really ashamed. The scaffolding on my house has stopped the satellite signal, couldnt even put Peppa Pig on for DS. Had a letter from tax maffin credits, they HAD sent me a 250 rebate last week... they sent me a demand for 210 this week, - was on the phone for 2 hours end to end sorting it out. Have already utilised the 250- its gone. Had to arrange installments, tagged on the end of the other installments. Had to ring scaffolders, and arrange dish to be sorted (need Peppa Pig if I am conducting enquiries into what the heck is going on with Tax Credits!)
My rent is due, can pay once I am paid, but opening the statement with the dueamount on following the demand for the 210 and the knowledge I need to pay my amex, and had a bad nights sleep the night before with DS and I was in floods.
Then my dad rang me, DD2 has been a bit naughty with the lifts to school thing and has taken advantage somewhat, as shes not really prepared and is remembering things en route, resulting in dad having to U turn and take her home again.
Made her apologise. Got upset and stressed, and as a result my mam is doing the rest of my ironing. :embarasse
Taking a days leave tomorrow and pacing myself with the stuff I want to do. Will manage. Everything financial is as it was with the exception of the tax credits which run on for a further 2 months paying back now.
No matter, its interest free. Had just had enough of the whole blummin lot last night.
Ate my tea at 11pm, in bed. Poor DH, had to pick up the slack.:(Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Hope you feel better soon and looking at what you've achieved to your debt so far is very very impressive.
And yes, you reall need to get Peppa back up and running, LOL. My little girl loves that, although she's taken a weird fixation with Rugrats (horrible little things) and Little Bill (A Bill Cosby cartoon thingy).

Hi Skint
You had what I had the other night! I lost it big time as alluded to in my own diary. I blew my top first, then came the tears. I actually feel better for it though.
How are you feeling today?

Today I feel like I have been bundled into a sack, got soaked, dried out, kicked all over and then thrown out of the sack from a great height.
And my eyes are sore and I am subdued.
Thanks for the cheery messages though, things are going better than they seemed during Operation Meltdown, its just combinations of stuff getting at me.
I know we have all been there, I just feel daft.
Rang Lloyds today am still on the right list. No money as yet though...Trying to shift that debt!0 -
