  • Hey Kathryn,

Chin up - I need to take the little and often approach to Ebay. If only I could haul my butt out of bed!!

Hope the Lloyds pay up, personally I wouldn't expect it until the very last day they gave for their "window" ;).

You will get by - you always do. We are all so proud of you :D xx Julie.

  • Hello all,

Just spent an uninspiring half hour speaking to Lloyds, and basically, I had been added to the wrong list...... Im not going to receive anything for ANOTHER 10-14 days.... BUT due to my persistance and general questioning they said I am getting an additional compensation payment:j. Well, this is hypothetical as they need to pay the blighter in the first place. This still fetches the money in before month end, but not quickly enough to meet my Amex bill date sadly but I shall wangle monies from elsewhere, as you do. (there isnt alot on the bill its work travel - just expenses havent repaid as yet.. as there is an internal issue) so, my focus for the next few days with any money in has to be my amex bill... Ive one birthday to sort, and I have to get a little bit of shopping in (just requires £20 in Lidl for necessities:rotfl:) and thats about it.

Cant do a no spend day today,:money: got to hit Wilkos for some washing powder, or tomorrow (market for shallots for a batch cook coq au vin- and cheese and beer treats for Brother in Law birthday...) but will manage one on Friday and sunday this week.

Been doing loads of surveys (another one in my inbox I can do at lunch), :T:T did another few ebay listings in turbolister last night, and will photograph some more gear to sell, current ebay sales are at 35 pounds so its creeping up and will help with the more pressing payments I need to make.

Just paid the phone bill today, grrr but on the upside I am more aware of how much money I dont have!!

Well lets hope todays ebay buyers pay quickly, then I should be back on track with the savings pots and then can borrow again from them to pay the amex.

Eeeh, that cigarette money has come in handy!

  • Our weekend plans so far are: Finish an hour early on Friday...

Friday take kids for an after school walk and have a berry forage with the dogs. Also can get sticks for the fire.

Change bedding, washing and ironing (just a little) and a declutter (sort and tidy a shelf or corner) prep veg for saturday tea - try to generate some ebay / stuff to get rid of... (husband will start this while I am at work)

    Saturday :
Up and a quick tidy, then down the other house for an hours tidy up, and a declutter for a bit, bringing some bits for DD2 to continue sorting.

Grocery shopping. Mr S and Mr Lidl... then a quick lunch and pop tea on to slow cook and a jaunt to one of our "free" places (memberships paid for the year)

Home and eat, have a relax / do some ebay / do some surveys and watch a film.

    Sunday:
batch cook coq au vin - make cakes and scones , iron.
