  • SBO 2 years is nothing. I am hoping to be free and clear within that as well. I would actually like to have some savings by then too and with any luck will have ticked off at least one of the big house jobs on my list. In my best case scenario by next Christmas I will have no debt, gutters etc renewed and central heating throughout my house. Then I will move onto kitchen and bathroom and I will be very very happy lady :D:D:D
5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
    Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
    Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
    By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.00
  • We can hold hands and tiptoe along and do it. I am doing freebies, ebay, coupons you name it I am on it.

I do paper logs and I sell everything I can.

One of my freebies has tracked and its thirty pounds, just need to send some proof of bank details, that will really help too.

Other than that just sent off for free toothpaste.

I am so cheesed off over the council tax, feel like we need to redouble our efforts all round but so does the husband - we will be invincible - we will get the house sorted double quick.

Its all baby steps but I figure if we are in the right direction its got to count.
    Trying to shift that debt!
  • To hang with tip toeing I reckon we should skip and scare the sh*t out off everyone in our path

  • My Wintercoat is back out! Its retirement, it seems was premature.

The hard frost this morning was two fingers up to the fact that last night I had started gardening mode. Accompanied, of course by an assortment of cats, 2 dogs and a small boy. During one particular dig, my freshly turned earth was utilised by one of my cats, Anthea, who decided that would be the spot to have a refreshing al fresco poo. She performed this openly and rather proudly, giving me a full nostril of her well rounded aromatics. She departed, leaving me to bury her offering. I was blessed, of course.

MIT, we can scream and when we do people will lock up their sons. well, we can try, but instead of rebel without a cause, I am more rebel without a clue.

I made paper logs as you know. I also refilled the bucket with more paper and hot water for tonight. I also utilised DD2 to "shred ahead" and she has filled a black bag with paper bounty. Im shredding ahead as I anticipate a lot of ebay packaging. My goodness, I am optimistic.

Scores on the doors: Ebay is up to 34.24. Thats 34 pounds to debt. I - am again and rather optimistically - hoping for drunken Tuesday night bidders. Some !!!!less spending to benefit me directly.

Tonights plan will be - general jobs - paper logs (these really help stretch the coal and are great) - ebay packaging - hopefully some people will have paid - catch up ironing - tidy up outside - start the bathroom - surveys, naturally - photograph ebay for weekend. Perhaps not all of these but certainly many of these will be done. I will prioritise and perhaps ironing and bathroom will get bumped.

    We shall see.

I managed to sort some wood to burn last night, from the woodpile in the garden. Thats got to be an ongoing task, its tough going. stamping on wood and splitting it! Hitting it with an axe or a hammer! General violence. I needed that after the council tax shock.

What other plans plots and schemes can I come up with? Help is needed.

  • Wish I hadn't read your plans as now I feel like a lazy moo sitting here with my feet up watching telly and knitting, contemplating my soup for my lunch. I would gaze out my windows into the garden but they are so dirty I cannot see. So thanks for that as I now feel the need to clean my bathroom tiles and my windows  and the beautiful Gino di campo has just arrived on the telly :D. Second thoughts, windows can wait as Gino is more important. I'm prioritising ;)

You can also try and come up with some plots and schemes, as I am feeling useless.

Ive have been desperately trying to come up with plots and schemes but I think I have run out . You seem to be the Queen of Schemes so I am relying on you ! come on Skint....get your thinking cap on !!

I still think running away to Oz is the best option , well its the best I can think of anyway, I am bored with the other options.

I will keep my fingers crossed for drunken bidders tonight for you, I have nothing ending now until Sunday :(

  • Im scam free at the moment.

Ebay is up to 47.77, seems like the bidding populus is on the pop this afternoon. I know I quite fancy a lager, as I have had my three bottles for the week!

Got a couple of meetings this afternoon so will be relying on the husband to keep an eye.
