  • Oh you know I can in some ways.
I can also emply child labour and husband power. They arent always reliable but no matter!

Batch cooking and less wine and the summer meaning costs are down for heating etc, should make things a little easier.

  • One of my colleagues used to volunteer for the samaritans and she has a sweet voice. One night when she was working aman was being slightly inappropriate with her and telling her allabout he was having some se x problems and what he was doing to help. She was saying to him that maybe he should see his doc and she would be ending the conversation. In a breathy voice he said 'please no, I'm nearly finished' Her supervisor cut him off and she said it still took her a few minutes to catch on to what he was up to :rotfl::rotfl:. She said lots of people phoned up and talked like that as it was cheaper than the premium lines. I still get so shocked at all these stories :o:o :rotfl:

  • Well there has been much clearing in readiness for work and ebay listings. My DH has just gone to the other house where we have stockpiled charity shop stuff, and he is going to the tip with some carp from the understairs cupboard.

I went to the other house this morning and i went through my shoes and handbags and have some to sell and some for charity and some just for me of course. I also found a nice coat from a shop which rhymes with Mext and antoher italian coat which needs a button back on but that can sell too .I have spent the afternoon ironing then had to unblock a drain and I am having a short breather before I pop and see my parents, then I shall do a concise hour of ironing and a tidy upstairs then I will do some surveys etc.

Also, I am going to get the garden tidied up a little bit.

I also found a supersaver policy I took out in 1992 with Norwich union. Its cashable now apparently, I looked online. Will ring tomorrow as that has a value of about 10 thousand and would be epic. But you know chances are my ex husband has had it and bought cars with it, depsite it being in my name only!

  • Yes, I would be so close to financial solvency! Although my husband is saying we need a car desperately, I dont know the check engine light has only been on for 6 weeks. Seriously though, its 12 years old and I might have to say its a definate need. I dare not even hope but all I can do is ring tomorrow.
