Almost on my knees! This head cold is making me so grumpy and I am at work and I hate talking on the phone. I sound like a premium rate call service apparently, but I look like Rudolf.:rotfl:
5 days to payday, 5 days til I wave goodbye to P2P, and 5 days until I am able to pay more debt (well meaningfully)
I have paid 50p off Amex, and a staggering 1.50 off vanquis. Its all steps in the right direction. I have cancelled one of my non paying ebayers. I think they intended to pay, but they did nothing for four days, and then decided to initiate an e cheque. It was due to clear yesterday but I went in this morning and it said it would clear by 19th. This is a fortnight after the listing ended so I thought enough is enough, messaged them and will relist it later.
Ive another non payer who contacted me and said that they would be paying first thing friday morning, well its already 10.03 and no sign yet, so they will get the treatment at 12pm. I am sick of being mucked about and can relist. I have given them over a week. Silly people. I am fair to them but I am taken for a mug.
Lamb dinner tonight and a bit of a relax once I do my bits of jobs. My head hurts and I am tired and this stuffy office is not helping. I made paper logs and shredded paper last night. I also did some surveys and I managed to get a lovely hot bath. I am going to clean the toilets tonight and set DD2 to help. Rock n roll. :TTrying to shift that debt!0 -
Target starting next week. See what I can clear from Vanquis in 6 months. Its currently at 2500.Trying to shift that debt!0

Oh what a lovely hubby, you clearly are loved and appreciated. So pleased for you !
Sorry to hear you are so rough, although your description made me giggle , I am sure there are many who call loving the sound of your husky voice. :rotfl:

There are times when I have wished I didnt have to speak today. The pain is akin to vinegar in a paper cut in my throat. However I think for medicinal reasons wine could possibly be called for.
This is purely medicinal. I am sure NHS direct recommend it.Trying to shift that debt!0 -

Oh they do...most definitely !
Mulled wine is particularly effective in these situations I find, but in the absence of any I am sure a bottle of Rioja warmed in a pan would suffice !LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Hey skint, sorry to hear you are full of it. Totally agree that wine is required, for medicinal purposes only of course.
What a lovely hubby you have, and a nice treat after the day before, your well deserved stropalina as I call them. There is nothing worse than a lukewarm bath!!!!
Remember you are amazing, you continue to chip away and do all the little things to save the pennies, how you find time to make paper logs and surveys I do not know.
Hope you manage to have a fairly chilled evening, a nice soak in a HOT bath whilst sipping a nice glass of wine.
25's here she comes, you better be scared :j:j:rotfl::rotfl:0 -
I most certainly hope so, I am following my 6 months of austerity plan and we should start to reap the benefits.
Ive got to try and maintain a busy schedule because I am concerned I will lose momentum and interest if I let anything slide.
I need my emergency fund this month and after thats in place I am off.I just need to pick up the pace. xTrying to shift that debt!0 -
