Aww cheers me dears.
I think I am low because I am no longer succumbing to the wine in the week.
I am starting today.
However, I break up from work on the 17th for Xmas and all bets are off then.
It will probably do my liver the power of good.
Anyway I need to make a list of things I need for Christmas even though I cant afford to buy anything yet !!Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Made a list of the stuff I need to buy for Xmas.
Its a start, anyway.Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Im waiting for my new CC so I can do my balance transfer....hurry hurry hurry!!!!
Still got loads, well ALL of my Xmas shopping to do  11 nieces & nephews to sort + mums/dads etc!!
Glad you are still chipping away at the amex, every little helps
x0 -
Know what you mean but I am not chipping today. The money has dried up a little bit. Thats a daunting list of rellies princess, I think you need to buy your siblings a telly each, 11 neices and nephews... blimey.
haha
Ive just used my last available funds to hire a car for work purposes tomorrow. Im meant to leave it with a full tank of petrol but if my credit card doesnt materialise then it might not be! I will have to borrow off someone again more than likley. bleugh.
Ive made a list of what I have to shell out over the next few weeks and it isnt pretty and thats without Christmas.
No ferrari in the sales for me but a full tummy a warm house and happy kids will be worth much more.
Money is due in and I can work at it, Child Support, the mythical Lloyds settlement and salary with backpay and a bonus payment (x2 as we work at the same company) and some overtime.
I am working overtime tomorrow and I will pop a claim in for that too, but that wont be paid until January.
In an aside, I am struggling with my demons again and depsite requesting a referral to Occupational health that hasnt happened yet. I will make use of the helplines and keep taking the pills.
Its great looking to your debt free date and plugging away but its a pain in the bum when people you know are driving better cars than you, have free childcare so dont have to pay that, having holidays left right and centre and have a social life, and Im wearing bras with more holes than material, and feel so rank that I cant afford to take my kids out and treat them.
I dont buy coffee or food at work and I barely have chocolate, have given up wine for now and I sell loads of things on ebay. I am not giving up the frugal existance and life will improve expodentially once the purchase finally progresses and I no longer pay rent and then we have the tenant we will be laughing but Ive been so run down with a virus, and things are getting to me.
I will be getting small gifts off my husband for Christmas (ten pounds maximum) and the money I get from our parents I will buy a savings bond with I imagine.
Anyway just downloading here. I will still continue to eat the elephant a bite at a time and I will make grounds and all will be rosy. I would just like a month off at the moment and not worry about money for a little bit.Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Hi SBO - great to hear from you and see you posting again..
I do know what you mean about wishing you could take time off from this job of being MSE..its blo2ming hard work and gets us all down at different times.
Well done on all you are doing eg. ebay and all you are giving up so that your DFD gets closer more quickly. It will be worth it all, honest
Rooting for you

Also I am going to give myself a nice challenge. Not only pay off more things but paying off as much as I possibly can. I think a paid off monthly tally would be good.Trying to shift that debt!0
