I haven't waited quite that long, but then I've been saving since I was a young teenager. I've lived at home at close to zero rent all my life.
Now I'm 28, I've finally saved up enough for a decent deposit (40%) on the 1 bed flat I'm in the process of buying - the first of my circle of friends to do so. Most of them still live in privately rented, shared accommodation.~share and enjoy~0 -
