can anyone on the new online banking confirm whether you can see fixed rate products online now such as fixed rate isas, bonds and monthly savers? as you could not previously

Those products are managed by Santander ISA Managers I don't think they are on the same system as the retail banking. Would make too much sense to do so.

You cannot see the First Home Saver online ... that is surely not managed by Santander ISA Managers??

You can see things like the DirectISA online, it is generally the non-instant access accounts that you cannot view online, but I was browsing through the user guide in work and there was a facility to add accounts, like on the A&L system.

It doesn't work though ... there is a link for 'add/remove an account' ... but it only allows you to hide existing accounts, or change the ordering.

It's not like the old Halifax system where you could put in any account number and it would add it to your online banking.

I have added a Santander eSaver (Issue 3) to my A&L online banking, not sure how I did it.
I can also see it if I login to my Santander savings account.

I do get an error when moving money from eSaver to my current account in the A&L online banking, but it still works fine and it's instant.

Maybe you can only add new savings account once they are up and running...

Unfortunately any new Santander account is "view only" on the A&L online banking system. In order to transfer money out of the esaver and get full functionality you will need to request online banking access for the Santander website. This will allow you access to any of your accounts that fall under the Santander name.

Well, I sent a couple of payments from my Santander current account last night using the new online banking site.

I was amazed to see that they DID actually go via faster payments.

I didn't think I would live long enough to witness such a thing...........:j

Please tell us how you confirmed this?

It certainly is not working for me :(

It very clearly tells you if your payment has been sent by faster payment.

    OK,

I just tried this morning with a payment I already had set up and sure enough it shows just as above :T

So set up a new payment to someone else (Barclays) and went to send a test amount and the "faster Payment" did not display :(

So logged out and back in and tried again, same :(

Now I am wondering if it needs a set time to pass or you have to make the initial payment under snail and next time you will get the option for speed!!!

The reason I first said it did not work still was last week, I set up a new payment, made it, it showed no "Faster Payment" and took 3 days to arrive.

On trying a test payment of 1p to that same name today it showed the "Faster Payment" Logo.

All amounts I am talking about are under £150, so it is not a limit issue.
