Anyway, just came across this: Cats Best Okoplus Clumping Cat Litter 30l / 15kg

So, sounds as if 1kg is about 2ltrs (which helps when trying to compare bag sizes/costs).:D

    2016 Sell: £125/£250
    £1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000

1 kg does not equal 1 litre or 2 litres as such (can be aither or anything in between) - depends on litter some are much lighter then others.... grrrrr

If I ever get to the stage that I try to test the cat litter myself - I promise to post a photo ;)

Zooplus leaves stuff with my neighbours if I am not at home, never had any problems with them.

Gettingready, that is really weird....I live on the Isle of Wight and we NEVER have things here that you can't get on the mainland UK!

rising - is that Okoplus litter a wood one? Because the 1kg/2ltr thing wouldn't be the same for the finer clumping ones like the one from PAH.

    Ah, IOW... hmmmmm

I think for the moment I am happy with Multicat and Biocat - will be testing the Golden Master next.

They all similar price with Biocat working out the cheapest for us - will see.

Wish they were doing bigger and cheaper bags of Multicat too

Crafty Kate - I only ever order online, perhaps they have it in the shops but not online, no idea.

I any case, the big bags are nto Multicat, those are Adult at (yellow) - probably no different anyway to Multicat as the same company...

I don't think I can go through the hassle of testing more types of litter, lol. I am not in during the day so I can't order online - don't have anywhere to leave it.

I just realised I have posted more about cat litter than anything else on this site. I'm off to get a life :D

Yup, and what you've said makes total sense - thought I'd cracked it!

Oh, I thought I cracked it a while ago but it was not the case. All depends, all depends.....

The same as 2kg of one type of litter will last longer/shorter than 2kg of another.

Just trial and error I guess...
