Hi everyone ...and DD...
WOW what a day!!!!!....I'm so happpppppy.....where do I start?
Firstly I had a good day on the cab..then I went to see my accountant...he was only doing the review to explain things to me...Well as you know I nearly went bankrupt due to being on a crappy firm...but I changed firms and things are going great now...Well last tax year I had to pay a massive tax bill and another load for what they call (tax up front of £900)...well as we had a crap year DH only owes £201 and myself £35...YIPPEE!!!!!.....but...as I paid £900 up front for Joes tax ...They have to pay me £700 back so all I have to pay in Jan is £35...how good is that!!!!
So as my tax credits were wrong I've phoned them so they owe me loads as well...don't know how much but went on entitled to and it say £3o p/w...they only paid me one payment of £17...
So all is looking well in Taxi land.....
I will not rest on my laurels and will still save my £100 per week...as I will have earnt loads and will have to make a payment on account for that in 2009...but the money will be there...
So am absolutely fantastically happy....0 -

HI Duchy ...I sure have..he only wanted to see me as he wanted to explain things to me ...as he knew that I would've thought it was wrong as usually pay thousands every year...due to the large drop in income he is putting a covering letter in with my tax returns...due to the op I had last year I also had time off for that 3 months and a month off for both of us in JAn when we went to India for DHs 50th birthday...and other illness I had all related...then of course for next years book I will have had 6 months off for this op...but cos we are earning a lot more we are going to put £100 p'w away as it will then cover the 12 months tax and insurance as well as thepayments on account which are half the amount again...
just looking at my sig...I'm going to try and make it that I hit my £7k challenge on monday?...will have to have a look about the accounts and see what I can find...0
