Can I join in? I know I'm a bit late for this week, but I'm going to follow a couple of the level one suggestions over the next few days and start properly on Monday
I have hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome which results in chronic pain and fatigue and often leaves me doped up to the eyeballs on pain pills and struggling to function. OH is my main carer at home and works a 40 hour week job, so he doesn't get much time for doing more than the bare minimum around the house. I hold down a 37 hour a week job, and I'm doing a degree through the OU, so usually by the time I get home I'm not fit to do anything constructive. Our normal household routine is that OH normally cooks and we each do the dishwasher when it needs doing; on weekend mornings I sleep in or rest in bed with a book and collect "spoons" while OH has a tidy round downstairs and when I get up, we sort the laundry together and normally put four loads a week through the wash (whites, darks, towels and bedding); I usually have a good wipe around the bathroom twice a week (fortunately no tiles to scrub!); and Sunday afternoon we go through the living room, study and bedroom with a bin bag and a paper/plastics recycling bag.
I hate the routine we've got, but tackling the house just seems overwhelming! We almost never hooveror dust
and the windows probably only get washed twice a year
We need a major declutter (I've actually just spotted a box of Christmas cards still out from December!) and to create a better routine to keep on top of things. Ideally, I'd like to have someone come in once a week to clean the kitchen and bathroom, and run the hoover around but with the way it is, I'd be ashamed to have someone come to the house!
So this is me confessing my sins and trying to commit to turning over a new (cleaner!) leaf!Original debts: £14,250
Still to pay: £250 /£950 - Lloyds TSB overdraft (although with interest and charges, I've already paid £1,675!)

I'm NOT happy.. my back is agony! OH is going to his mothers Saturday leaving me with all the beasties because KH is a KH and wouldn't swap weekends .. the following w/e we were supposed to be going to his mothers and KH won't have the children because he is a tool.. What gives him the right to book stuff the weekends he is supposed to have the children? Then it is half term so no doubt he will lie and say he is away all week again like he did last half term..
I don't want to go to his mothers, I don't want to be left on my own all weekend and I don't see why that FW can't just swap weekends because it would benefit us both (other than I'm not allowed to do anything ever again because he couldn't keep his !!!! in his pants!) I don't see why he should neglect his children that are stupid enough to think he is interested in them so he can sleep in his own vomit..
I can be 3 if I want!
He is so negectful he didn't supervise Moomin doing her injection on Saturday so now she is squawking when she has to have it... OH does cajoling I don't have the patience so pinned her down and did it anyway.. I can't be bothered with drawing it out and makingg it worse.. it gets done.. simple as..
Tomorrows list.. ring solicitor, Ring POPD, Ring tax credits, Tell FW he can get DD3 from school on his way to pick up the girls... he will like that.. NOT!..

Solstice-Twilight welcome; do be sure to read posts #1 and #2 on the thread, for encouragement and an explanation of the abbreviations and so forth. With EDS you might do well to do what I do, and do your flying in short bursts, with rests in between (I have lupus, btw).
Mumof2 I'm glad your therapist can help you; wish I could cope with therapy of that sort, but I can't. Was only thinking about you earlier and wondering how you were.:o
