Got home to find 'sick' OH has done laundry and cleaned kitchen. Although not pulled everything out and cleaned behind them as "we've run out of kitchen cleaner". I gently reminded him that the bathroom cleaner or indeed washing up liquid would have worked, but massive brownie points for effort :-) Guess I'll do his favourite beef rendang for tea (takes chuffing hours and I hate cooking it, but still...).

Work have agreed to an increase in hours for me (only 2.5) so I can do 4 mornings a week instead of 3 days - there will be no increase in childcare, but I need the extra pay to cover 4 commutes instead of 3. But it means I cam be home by 3 most afternoons, which will be great! Just got to agree new hours with CM and preschool and we'll be sorted.

After tea I need to sort out fabric stash and start cutting for next lot of commissions, plastic storage arrived today!

Getting married 19th August 2011 to a lovely, lovely man :-)
  • OH came home for late lunch so he dropped me off at the shops to pick up some stuff for tonighs dinner. While I was there I had a look in the CS's and managed to get a dress, top and wrap cardigan, for when I return to work in two weeks time.

This evning I need to S&S the kitrchen as kids have messed it up with their afterschool cupboard raiding and sort out Back LR as well as get dinner done.

Just spent a few hours with one of my closest friends who has had some worrying health news and is awaiting a brain scan. Flying is falling into the oh so not important category again.

piggers remember to pack some extra nibbles for yourself - remember what happened before - you were starving - cant have that happening again:eek:
happierdays well done with your CS finds - I am always looking but very rarely lucky

the intention today was to have a queit day and thats what happened - i kept falling asleep in the warmth of the conservatory!! really annoying as I needed to do some bits but anyway I got going eventually and went and posted my ebay sales and did a bit of food shopping to keep me going - I have no fridge just now and its really difficult keeping things fresh.

It has been dreadful weather wise - thunder plump one after another - lovely in between but only for about 30 mins - the heavens have just opened again! very muggy too!

    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder
