Quick list up-date before I go to collect DD from school

    This week:
Write DD's chore/reward list for this week.
    Colour my hair
    Dye DD's jeans
Write Toots list  - this weeks one is posted below, going to do a long term one as well
    Ironing until its gone
Deal with @pproved f00d order when it arrives

    Tue - Brownies (£1.50)
    Wed
    -
    Thur - Put order in
Fri - Take DD to her dads?
Sat/Sun - depends on DD going away or not.

    Toots list:
    • Computer based:
      1. Sync phone (sort out music on it so I don't have multiple versions of the same song!)
      2. Copy CD cover for DDs exam cd so she knows what track is which
      3. Transfer money around where applicable
      4. Pay @von bill
      5. Change SO online for rent
      6. Update SO/DD on finance spreadsheet & update purchases
    • Kitchen
      1. De-mold ceiling - we'll be getting a new roof soon now the workman knows that I was right, the mold on the ceiling in the kitchen does correspond to the bald /cracked patches on the flat felt roof ;):D
      2. Clean out undersink cupboard & [STRIKE]Medicine/cleaning cupboard [/STRIKE]
      3. Inventory food/cleaning supplies
      4. Try making a cake in the BM
    • Livingroom
      1. Shorten both pairs of curtains
      2. Clean the floor (including the hall) properly
      3. Clean rug
      4. Put down/patch together new anti-slip mats (I'm sick of the rug travelling as its bigger than my old one so the non-slip mat under it isn't big enough)
    • Bathroom
      1. Scrub floor properly
      2. Empty/replace de-humidifier
    • Bedrooms
      1. Sort through L's clothes and get rid of worn/too small stuff while she's not here to stop me ;)
      2. Clear out under my bed, sort & replace :o
    • Sewing jobs:
      1. Crop top - repair
      2. Reattach button on hair towel
      3. Badge onto DD's Brownies sash
      4. DD's trousers x 5 (putting elastic on the inside of the waist band to bring them in - she's tall, hippy and thin so they all gape at the back which is highly embarrasing for her when she sits down. :()
      5. Leggings - stitch seam
      6. Top - shorten straps
      7. Curtains x 2
    • Outside
      1. Clean windows
      2. Sweep front (fix brush first - head keeps coming off it )
      3. Weed/clear flowerbeds (cutting back tulips etc which have now gone yellow) - done 15 min out there and made some progress :D
    • Work
      1. Accounts - sort out breakdown
      2. Tax return - read letter properly & register
      3. Check orders
      4. Check for any returns
      5. Fliers for new books (check addresses)
      6. Make contact cards for all customers so I have their details to hand
      7. Put contacts into phone (so I know who is texting me ;))
      8. Organise Calender (marking on dates and trying to work out a timetable to maximise my income ;))
    • Paperwork
      1. Tax credits renewal form
      2. Phone up about BTWB evidence - I'd rather not post them 4 x 8 sheets of paper as evidence if I can send less:eek:

AJ i had someone in to clean my old oven, it cost me around £35 for the oven to be cleaned and the shelves to be soaked and it was like new. i didnt need the hob doing though as that would have been an extra £10.

Its so worth it as i cant stress how nice it looks once its been done, it really makes you want to keep it that way as well and a quick wipe over every few days after cooking sees it looking like new without any major elbow grease.

Right im now off to do some cleaning till 4pm. think im going to go do the bathroom and probably empty the hoover. not doing the filters though as id rather buy a new hoover! saying that ive had that hoover 5 years and being the mucky pup that i am havent cleaned the filters at all. hmmm wonder if OH will do it if i play the pregnancy card again lol :p

    In my HHC

I finished the list apart from cleaning the vacuum.
Pulled out everything under the PC table and gave it all a good dust and vacuum.
Spoke to the guy I am dealing with at work about my frog, another small cog may now be in place.
Vacuumed under one of the units in LR as it is next to the PC area and hasn't been done in a long time.

    My Toots List
    LIVING ROOM

Find a mirror for above fireplace
    Put pictures up
Decide what to do with PC
    Tidy cables under PC table
Get a new carpet or rug
    KITCHEN
Get someone in to deep clean oven so we can keep on top of it or do it ourselves
Sort bottom shelf of larder cupboard
    Fix skirting board to wall
    BATHROOM
Change bath and sink taps over
    Replaster and paint wall
    HALL
    Put flooring down in hall
Put doors on cupboard in hall
Get coat hooks and put up

    MAIN BEDROOM
Find a new mirror and put up
    Decorate
    Get a new carpet
    SPARE ROOM
Put shelving in spare room cupboard for storing books
Persuade OH to get rid of junk in spare room
Get a new lightshade for spare room
    Put picture up

    OUTSIDE
    Paint outside woodwork
Get someone out to check the roof
    Declutter the shed
    Cut trees back
    BiL to do
Put small fence sections up BiL to do
    OTHER
Get OH to sort my boots out for work WIP
Sell old mobiles or give away
    Dispose of old laptop
Find a home for the microwave

    Price up a new boiler

The cheapest quote I have found for the oven so far is £40. I can do the racks (they are almost perfect now) so don't need to worry about those and the hob is always cleaned anyway as people can see that! I am going to try the ovenpride stuff next and see how I go with that. If that doesn't work then I will try and persuade OH to get someone in. The only bit we will struggle with is the roof of the oven, trying to get around the element as many things have spat up there and it just drips when the oven is turned on.

Another quick break now. I still need to iron 3 shirts and try and get ahead a bit for tomorrow.

Dw been unloaded and wm changed over. Kids all home and messing about. DS1 will be blackmailed into doing some flying because he wants to watch the football. :D

My sister rang to say her and bil are staying over tonight, i'm not really sure what thats about. So i need to figure out where everyone is sleeping, maybe they'll change there minds. :o

Right plan now is the livingroom so everyone has a seat tonight.

Mumto5 healing vibes for your nephew.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Ironing done. Going to put the vacuum away now and get some shopping so we can eat tonight. When I get back I will try and get on top (and maybe ahead) of my 5 minute challenges so everywhere is easier to whizz around tomorrow.
