it doesn't matter how many times you show a photo of a room, you can't fool me into thinking the lounge and dining room and kitchen aren't one and the same

is this a case of no one watches TV in this house

picture number 8 - look at the wonderful period features, which have been painted so many times you can't make out the finer detailing of the features

Thanks for a great evening all, been thinking about moving but not quite saved up yet, which was a little bit sad...
However I am now exceptionally cheerful - the photos were great plus this house plus comments nearly made me snort with laughter! :rotfl:DFW Nerd #1310 -
What I don't understand with house listings is why they have the same pictures repeated. For example:
http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-28731281.html
Pictures 2 and 6 - pic 6 makes the room look worse because it shows the view out of the window (described in text as being over communal gardens)
Pictures 7 and 8 - what is the point of picture 8?
Pictures 4, 9 and 10 - pic 4 looks great, the others are just worse versions

Still, it's good to see home information packs getting a mention in the listing.0 -

Also if you check the floorplan it has two bedroom 3's and seems to be missing the 4th?0 -
iNath - it does look that way doesn't it? but actually it's another one of the most frustrating things about round here, estate agents are very good at advertising 2/3/4 bedroom homes which in reality only have 1/2/3 bedrooms, the extra room comes in when you don't need a dining room0

for those of you without property bee, this place has been on for years, started at £200K, now down to £175K I know nothing about the area it is in, but the livingroom and one of the bedrooms is more than enough to put me off....

I once went to view a house which was described as a cottage - when I got there it was a 2 bed terrace!0 -

My in-laws also call terraces, cottages - but I wouldn't expect to see that down on an estate agent's description.0 -

They did say a semi-detached villa though. I've seen plenty of semi-detached houses described as villas, and that is on estate agents descriptions.0
