It's just the way Express Estate Agency markets. We looked at one advertised at offers over £99,950 but they won't accept a penny less than £140,000!!!

Ooh interesting. There's a house in Norwich that was on for £134k for months and months but is now on with Express Estate Agency at offers INXS of £99,950.

I suspect that the vendor still wants at least £130k for it. Here it is:

^ And another thing - was there a new 'window tax' in operation when they were building houses in the 1970s? :D

Buy your bananas in bunches of 5 on Sunday. Then arrange them in order of ripeness and write a day of the week on each banana in felt pen, Monday on the ripest, Friday on the greenest to save time making those decisions on a hectic weekday morning

We have newbuilds in Ashford, Kent that only have windows on one side and yet they have sunken recesses where it looks as though windows and a door should be. Very strange!!! I'll see if I can find a pic Lol!!!

I have one! It stems from when my daughter lived at home and was intended to curtail her marathon bathroom-hogging sessions. Teenager girls can enter a differerent phase of the space-time continuum once the bathroom door shuts behind them!
