interesting colour of bathroom I wonder?

So 'good' they had to show it three times to help you to believe your eyes! What's with the half shower door, half curtain too? :o

My first foray into this thread...the whole house is a bit  in terms of decor, but its picture 7 that really got me! First my attention is drawn to the, well, not quite sure what, under the desk, then, getting over the shock of that, is that a cupboard with a shower door? Scrolling down the page....NO! Its an EN SUITE SHOWER! of course! :rotfl:

Ensuite showers are my biggest property hates - even more so than the only bathroom in a house being downstairs. :(

The house is certainly done to an acquired taste but it wouldn't put me off buying it (if I did then removing the en-suite shower would be the first job). I personally like the corner bath with the step but as another poster remarked it does look small.

A lot of the ex-council houses on the estate I grew up on have similar interiors to this house. I guess the adage 'more money than sense' is quite true - especially after the generous discounts offered to council tenants like my parents and their neighbours. :o

My dad built a front porch on the house about 20 years ago. A school friend remarked looked a bit like 'a Chinese temple'. I was annoyed that he insulted my dad's handywork but on reflection I quite agree now. :D

A different take on the 'en suite' concept.

Actually, that is even more grim than the ensuite shower in the bedroom! I wonder if the current householder(s) have a 'number one only' policy for that room? :lipsrseal

A few years ago I recall seeing a pic of a grand detached house with porcelain in the bedroom...the 'boudoir bath' as well as the loo and a sink. I thought I had pretty average standards in househunting but even I would demand that the ensuite/bathroom was completely separated from a bedroom!

This one... some of the photos are a bit odd? weird angles or just someone trying to get on grand designs?

I don't understand anything about picture 1, the 'floating?' table in picture 5, the bed and weird fire thing in picture 8, the bath for all the family in picture 10 or the snooker table for short people on picture 13!

  • Well it didn't sell at £650k, so why not put the price up £40k and try again?!

If it wasn't for the interior decorating I'm there! Shame about the 'throwback' feeling from the 70's! :D

"He and Emma have absolutely fallen in love with the property and everything has been built to his every specification. They will be both be very happy there."

Clearly not! There's other properties on that farm (4 bed detached and terraces) and they are all up for sale...

Ha ha didn't know I'd stumbled on a footballers mansion, should have known from the decor!!
