interesting that one - the ground floor really looks like it was a couple of semis knocked through - there seems to be a dividing wall running down the midle & 2 hallways where they've stuck a loo at the end of one of them

ETA: could be a 3 bed on the left, with a 2 bed on the right? Knocked through to make one house with a ground floor converion to the garage on the 2 bed?

Yes that occurred to me when I saw the two hallways. I'm sure it could have been done better but obviously would have cost lots of money.
I was wondering how you access the two right hand bedrooms unless you can squeeze past the stairs?

I had to do a double take at the floor plan on this one:

What were they thinking putting the utility room in the conservatory?

Also, the upstairs plan looks a bit odd to me - you come up the stairs then have to double-back to get to the bedrooms and bathroom on the right? Or is it a cupboard? Also, what's that squiggle/step going through the wall on the upper/right bedroom?

I was wondering that too! I think we should all turn up to view and work it out, lol! :D

If you look at neighbouring properties on street view it all becomes clear - the house originally was only the left hand half, with a double garage to the right.

Upstairs was extended over the first garage, and the two garages were converted to a self-contained "granny flat" - hence the extra kitchen and bathroom, and the divided conservatory.

A different take on the 'en suite' concept.

 took me two scrolls through the photos to notice that! Horrid.
Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.

    It's amazing!!

Ooh I bought a house like that once. Every room was decorated like that! She had used some really thick type of paints, blackboard paint and then stuck cotton wool o the ceiling - for clouds.

We actually had to have the room replastered and it was 2 yrs old, the house!

Nightmare. It was my dream home though, for location and I got it cheap as they were about to go bankrupt..

Slightly off-topic I know, however - you may laugh, but in the house we've just bought the cistern for our bathroom loo is in an attic bedroom...........with a string going through the floor to the bathroom below to enable you to flush it :rotfl:
