This is an American site, but what a great idea. Estate agents over here should take note.

Jackieb,
Thanks for the link-excellent. I love the ease of comparing houses so easily. I want a "WIC"!0 -

Oh my dude - look at the kitchen in this one.

that listing lulls you into a false sense of security. You're browsing through the first few pics thinking " nice place this, stripped wood, neutral, low maintenance garden" etc etc, and then wham! the kitchen appears. Really jars with the rest of the house - wonder why? Such a shame really, as the place looks quite nice otherwise - it's just that all you'll remember is the kitchen!"Science is a wonderful thing if one does not have to earn one's living at it" Einstein 19510 -

Ooooh, I like that ! I particularly like the way you can hovver the mouse over a floor plan, and it changes the photo to match. Couldn't find any prices though - is that a US thing or just that this website is for those that don't need to ask the price ?"Science is a wonderful thing if one does not have to earn one's living at it" Einstein 19510 -

I think those are just examples of houses they've done that way. It really gives you an idea of how a house flows.
I wonder if I could set up a Scottish version and call it mooseonahoose. :rotfl:0 -

Maybe the kitchen was so bad they decided it would be better off stripping it back to the bare bricks! Have you read the description for it though? Sounds like a normal kitchen, and what work surfaces?!Kitchen: Approx 8'7 x 8'9 (2.61m x 2.66m) Window & door to the rear, range of wall & base units with complimentary work surfaces over, inset stainless steel sink unit with mixer tap, integrated electric oven and inset gas hob with extractor over, plumbed for automatic washing machine, tiled floor, ceiling down lights, extractor fan.0 -
I know ! Thing is, even if they did strip it back, why paint it that colour?!

I know we have a giggle about the lack of taste of peoples' decor on houses which they are trying to sell.
However, I must admit to a guilty secret of actually liking coloured bathroom suites such as avocado.Am I alone?
