It would be different if the new posts were giving answers to something asked months ago

Such as the post it quoted? From October last year?

All the usual suspects crawling out of the woodwork to bore us to tears again with their mono-subject.

You resurrected a thread begun in 2007, and which hasn't been posted on since October last year. :wall:

Would you like my details so that you can sue me? Seriously, calm down if you're no longer interested in the post, why comment on it now? Just leave it alone! I was hoping that my advice might help someone reading this now. I don't check the dates of posts, as long as there is an unanswered question we feel we can advise on, it is likely to be helpful to someone.

    Sheesh!

    I don't know about that.
Some of your posts are occasionally interesting.

If you're not interested, don't read it. Not only are you complaining about a thread which does not concern you, you're commenting on replies that weren't even directed at you! I simply don't understand why you're making it your business and having a go at me- I don't need anyone's permission to post on these forums nor will I be criticised for absolutely no reason when I was trying to help people out with information.

Fair enough, I'm not telling you how to comment, I'm simply pointing out that to have a go at people for replying to an old thread by commenting on that thread is slightly hypocritical and that since you were complaining about it, you might as well not stress yourself out over something that shouldn't bother you.

I am interested, I've read it now...it doesn't help me.

Why do presume I'm not interested?
