It's a raft boat (not the mini Black Pearl which is on Monday), and comes complete with a Captain Jack Sparrow mini-figure.
Toys R Us opens 11am - 5pm Sunday.
Don't forget the News of The World is £1 tomorrow.popped to another whsmiths to use the vouchers & they're closed  does anyone know if the whsmith's that are closed on sundays will have these in store tomorrow? thanks
 Happy Bargain Hunting!! :beer:0 -

Hi, first post!
I was really disappointed to find that you can't send off for the free Lego on this offer. We don't live anywhere near a WHS or ToysrUs. With all the publicity that the Sun has been churning out since last week, I think what they have done is horrible. There are 4 very disappointed kids in my house. We always like to take these offers up, so why have they changed it this time?
Does anyone know who we can write to to complain about this? I feel really angry about it!
Thanks0 -
Queue of 30ish people outside of WHSmith Plymouth city centre this morning (plus a few trolls passing themselves off as human).
Managed to get my Jack Sparrow (there should be a 'Captain' in there somewhere) despite angry short-and-middle-aged fat guy and and another old dude stirring up trouble. Manners really do cost nothing, and to cap it all off they were both having a go at a blind woman for "not being in the queue" - she obviously couldn't see the queue. People like that fat guy and old dude really should just drop dead.
Still, good luck to everyone today, and shame to those who buy multiple sets and extort money out of kids/adults on ebay.0 -
Ive just come back from our local Smiths, they had sold out of the papers sadly, but when asked at the checkout, they said they still had stock if I got a voucher from another paper shop, or they could sell the lego to me for a pound - it was a difficult decision considering I didnt want the paper to start with

Massive queue in carlsile today, out of the door. Didnt realise they had sold out of the sun when I got in shop, bought a mirror (my normal paper anyway) and quietly begged the lady and she gave me the lego for today :T, very happy little boy here. Think it is so popular as there is no postal route, never seen queues like today in the past for free lego0

I got the Chelmsford town centre (after finding the last remaining free parking space!) at 10:25.
Huge queue outside the WHS, waiting for the 10:30 opening. Predictable chaos at 10:31 + I doubt if they had Lego stock past 11:30!
Got my 2 copies (and toys), although I was a bit miffed that they marked the vouchers (well trained staff, I guess).0 -

Ours had run out too (less than 2 hours after they opened), but the assistant said they could still give me the Lego. I explained apologetically that I was going to buy two papers (as I have two children, not an ebay habit) and she said "that's fine" and handed two over. :T :j One Lego Johnny already built, I love the detail and the 'glass' bottle!
They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.0 -
Got yesterday's & today's, thinking to put all the kits together for my 7 y/o nephew. But I had to have a little go with Capt. Jack, obviously. Then ds (16!) heard the plan for the others & decided the Star Wars one was far too complicated for a 7 y/o ....
Oh well, I'm sure dn will be perfectly happy with the other 5!0 -
I have two lego mad little boys who are massively into Star Wars at the moment as well and I have failed miserably to get them anything so far - I have the tokens but haven't been able to get to the shops early enough to pick up the lego. What a shame you can't just save them up and send them off with postage.
I have promised them I will drop them off at school tomorrow then cycle to our local Smiths to see if I can at least manage to get them Mondays sets - please keep your fingers crossed for me.
