i know that feeling well as i have 2 boys with autism. luckily i can pop in to whsmiths after the school run this week on my way home as my life wouldn't be worth living especially if i didn't get the lego ninjago :o

Me too. He was so excited and has spent all week looking at the ad in the paper and was disappointed when they were sold out and did not understand when it said free lego. I am going to try tomorrow morning and go from school run to the paper shop and then to TRU. It's a nightmare, I'd at least like to be able to get him one toy.

I remember it well, having to buy whichever toy from the happy meal set that our mcdonalds didn't ever seem to have it stock. Even if it was something rubbish he would still want it because it was part of the set. Needless to say I tried to avoid mcdonalds as far as possible :)

I am still umming and ahhing over whether to buy a dalek off ebay from last week's mirror promotion. Our sainsburys said they sold out really fast, and they were on ebay for £6.99 as soon as I got home :(

Our local sainsburys now has the toys in stock for £1.99 but obviously you dont know which one you will get as they are sealed packs

oh, thanks! I wonder if the dalek can be felt through the packaging? I'll have a look tomorrow.

(I was thinking of putting amy, doctor and dalek onto a birthday cake for him)

is this the individual lego figures that are in little packets? because if it is i'm sure that a friend said that each figure has a different barcode & she'd probably know what code was for what figure

i hope you manage to get some :) do you not have a whsmiths near you where you can pick up the paper & get the toy at the same time?

ohhhh .... that happened with the lego figures, I saw it mentioned on here. Sorry to derail the thread, I shall go and look around t'internet :D

EDIT: from what I've seen they all have the same code, but the characters are here and it looks like a dalek will be easy to feel http://merchandise.thedoctorwhosite.co.uk/character-building-doctor-who-micro-figures/

The sainsburys one was a special limited edition yellow one, but he won't care about that.

My MIL made our wedding cake, and she put star wars figures of han solo and leia (?) onto plain white icing - it was talked about for years and all our friends thought it was fab, so I wanted to do something similar for my son. I could just put my wedding cake toys on top, of course :)
