i went & bought 2 papers a whsmith's today & got the free lego sets but the guy who served me didn't mark or rip out the tokens so i managed to get another 2 from another town's whsmiths with the tokens so my boys are over the moon that they have fleet of mini x-wings to play with :j

It's a real disappointment. My gran likes to send away for these through the year to give to the great-grandkids for xmas presents and TBH the great-grandkids go crazy for them.

I'm pretty sure the 'one for every reader' statement could go for review to trading standards as clearly they don't send that many lego sets out to Smith's an TRU.

We did not get any today either. Will give it another try in the week but the woman told us they had all gone within minutes.

WHS in Birmingham City Centre amazingly had 'loads in stock' at around 1:30 this afternoon, was told they had 2 full boxes yet to be opened.

Got mine ok this morning (about 9.30). Our whsmiths isn't open on sunday so hopefully will get it on monday.
There were a few disappointed people in the queue as they would only give one lego toy even if you were buying two papers.

is it jacks boat tomorrow? we are no where near either store but the best toy we will make a trip. is there a figure with tomorrows? what time does toys r us open as our whs is shut sundays. thankyou

Got my Lego, at 11 am, but staff well drilled in offering the Lego & wouldn't let one Sun reader, who didn't want it, give his Lego to me..

The WHSMiths I went to scanned both paper & Lego, showing both on till chit. Seems there's an audit trail this time, but maybe I went to a particularly tight ship?

As for the no matter how many papers, only one Lego - I didn't find that - so long as I paid for three papers (the things we do for love?!) I got three X wings. :T

They also didn't clip the coupon, so I'm hoping to mop up another 3 X wings at another store tomorrow. I'm entirely in the hands of the staff, so will just try asking nicely & see if it works. If they say no, I've still got 3 X wings.

(And the lads don't know it yet!)

It's a raft boat (not the mini Black Pearl which is on Monday), and comes complete with a Captain Jack Sparrow mini-figure.

Toys R Us opens 11am - 5pm Sunday.

Don't forget the News of The World is £1 tomorrow.
