FINISHED: Free Lego toys with The Sun, 9 to collect.

thats ok but our whsmith always runs out by 10am. 3 people go in there and buy in excess of 30 papers each. not far to us normal people. i did complain last time , the manager said its 1 toy per paper. they brought the paper so can have a toy

Go in at 9.30am and buy 90 papers. That'll teach em.:rotfl:

Aw, looks like my lad will be disappointed this time then - Last time the giveaway's were in The Mirror, our local Toys R Us was always out of stock pretty quick, and I certainly won't be able to get there first thing each day. Even WH Smiths are difficult for me to get to early on (Metro Centre or Newcastle City).

Therefore, was hoping for another token collect.

The WHS at Manchester Piccadilly train station has participated in the last three Mirror lego giveaways ... on weekdays they are prepared for my arrival c.8:30, but at the weekend I normally have to make the duty manager go and find the box for me! They've also given me multiple packets on the weekend, as far fewer people want them (I got a dozen of the Xmas tree packs!)

A friend has just tried Smiths at Waterloo station for me and has been told it is high street stores only. We will struggle to get them if there is no token collect as we do not have a local store open early enough each day.

I'm going up to Manc Piccadilly shortly to see if they have them, will post results later. (Thank goodness for a season ticket, so if it's a wasted journey, it hasn't cost me!)
