You told the doctor how much alcohol he drinks (loads), and your doctor could see his eyes were yellowed, but didn't do liver function tests? I think you need to see another GP.bitsandbobs1 wrote: »

what about some adult nappies OP? I just googled and they are £13 http://www.gompels.com/eform-large-adult-nappies-super-green-28-p-5400.html
Just pop one on him before bed , and change him in the morning , end of problem.0

I know, but sadly because he now thinks he is ok, He doesn't think he needs to go again to see another doctor. We are not registered at the same surgery, he decided to stay at his family surgery (well just his mum registered there now) And me and the kids are with a medical centre.
Thanks for links, will take a look now.
How can I stop this? He doesn't think he has a problem because he says he doesn't drink much. No 4 can's is not much? It's enough to make my head in a spin I am sure. 0 0

Bits and bobs-Has your husband any history of bladder infection? Also if he is doing exercise/manual heavy work is there any slight release of urine suggesting an underperforming bladder.0

I'd be buying him a single bed to sleep in and making him change/wash it.
See if he sees it as a problem then."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0

OK I am buying them right now. Let's see how he likes to wake up in these. Because when he asleep he is asleep so I could put one him when he asleep. Would be hilarious BUT practical.0

No he has no history of bladder problems, He is on his feet all day running a warehouse, And yes He does a lot of manual/heavy work. He is very fit, skinny but fit.

Well work out how many units he is drinking per night, and compare that to the recommended limit.bitsandbobs1 wrote: »He doesn't think he has a problem because he says he doesn't drink much. No 4 can's is not much?
Even ignoring the alcohol, the other symptoms (incontinence, yellowed eyes) need checking out.
If I had yellowed whites of eyes and nocturia I wouldn't leave the GPs surgery without a referral for liver and kidney function tests tbh.0

Did he really go to the docs, did you go with him?
Make another appointment and go with him, don't be fobbed off.
Regardless of how much he drinks he might have a serious problem, he needs proper attention else it could get a lot worse for both of you.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.

The fact that he is wetting the bed suggests that he does have a bladder issue. It is not normal and needs to be checked possibly at urology. If he was drinking a shedfull it could be understandable that the signals from his brain to go and urinate would not wake him because of the nulling effects of the alcohol. I would suggest that 3-4 cans would not do this. Perhaps his bladder function is reduced so that while he thinks he has emptied his bladder, in actual fact urine has been retained. I think that a trip to the GP IS NECESSARY to discuss this problem.0
