Tesco Direct have reduced the price one day after I ordered

Do I have any right to demand the difference in price be refunded?
Presumably if I return the product with receipt then I can get a full refund then order it again at the lower price, but that could potentially add days to my waiting time.
You would seriously do this for £5? I know this website is about money saving but this seems crazy too me.
It doesn't seem worth the hassle for what someone else said was 2% of the product value. You would have to either cancel your order or return it for a refund and then you would have to re-order it at the discounted price. Taking the risk that the product is still in stock (there could be outstanding orders for the item which would be processed first). Also who is to say that when you reorder the item is still in stock for the same price, it could have gone back up to the original price or further.
As for asking them to refund the difference, you were happy with the price when you ordered and paid for the projector entering into a contract with Tesco to supplier you the projector, this was your chance to negotiate a discount. Not after.0 -

Of course not. Why on Earth do people always say this?
Why would a customer lose any sleep over a company with a turnover like Tesco potentially losing out on a fiver? Customers are quite rightly concerned with their own pockets, not the company's.
Seems like a silly thing to say.
maybe because its a genuine question to ask,0 -
The answer is no, customers, upon discovering a price increase after buying a product, don't wish to go back to the shop and offer to pay the difference after a price increase. They're not, for obvious reasons, concerned when it is that way round.maybe because its a genuine question to ask,
I'm frankly shocked that people actually need this question answered.

I bought some petrol from a tesco garage a couple of weeks ago, the price has since gone down 2pence per litre. I haven't used the petrol as I still have some of last months left, maybe I can return it and buy it at a cheaper price.
