  • Thank you very much Trixxie for the nomintaion much appreciated.

I hope others have benefited from the various codes available as much as me, i still find it hard to believe that Amazon haven't pulled the codes.

Was really pleased to get onto the weekly email of Martin's and have seen the offer posted on various forums around the net.
  • I've used the Hellmans codes (Saturday) on two separate orders with Amazon and got a reduction of £8.74 on both. Not bad eh.
  • How do you get the reduction? I realise the book is free and you can receive free delivery, but how do you apply for the reduction?

    Thanks

Well if you order something over the value of £15 you get the free delivery automatically. But if you order the Hellmans book with it and use the code it deducts the free delivery money off your total spend (book is still free), making the product that you order cheaper.

    Hope this makes sence.

  • This offer only works when you buy from amazon. Not from other sellers.

This doesn't work now because the book isn't in stock - you can pre order it and still get it free - but using it to get free delivery on other stuff isn't advised because they will delay your order past christmas waiting for this to come in stock.

They will split the delivery and deliver the in-stock items anyway - that's wht they're doing with my order according to My Account.

THEN, when they've dispatched the in-stock item, log on and cancel the rest of the order!

Result = 1GB SD Card for £3.23 delivered!

Thats what happened to me when I ordered the Barbie head, I had a dispatched email for Barbie £3.23 and then I cancelled the book. I also had a credit of £3.71 when I checked my empty basket in my Amazon account.

I don't understand how you can get away with cancelling the Hellman's book. On Amazon's Super Saver Delivery terms and conditions it states:
You will not receive free Super Saver Delivery on your order if any eligible products are cancelled, bringing the total order amount below £15.

Does this mean that they might charge you extra for delivery, or do they only take payment just before items ship? Has anybody been charged extra?
