Only thing is these are the old model, with only eight hour battery life. New one is £139 from apple with upto 18 hours battery life.0

I've ordered from John Lewis and also rang customer services to get the delivery charge dropped as it says free delivery at the top of the page ( apparently this is only over £150, but they agreed to drop the 3.95..)
The new ipod minis have better battery life, but no firewire or AC adaptor - so swings and roudabouts......you decide0 -
where did you get that, richardj?Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth.0

here it says they charge via usb
"iPod mini features Apple’s patent-pending Auto-Sync, keeping it up-to-date whenever iPod mini is plugged into a Mac or Windows computer using USB 2.0. In addition to keeping the iPod mini up-to-date, plugging directly into the USB 2.0 port will also charge the iPod mini."

I also mailed them and got my delivery charge refunded. I think I am happy with the older one becoz of the firewire and AC adaptor which always comes in handy when u dont have a computer around.
