What happens to Northern Ireland in all this ? Who gets landed with that province ?

Relevant case law suggests that it would live with Ireland but get to visit Scotland every other weekend. Christmas alternates.

oh i dunno, the official investigation of the matter conducted by the head of the civil service which concluded that the brown govt did everything it could to facilitate the release.

You refuse to visit Scotland "in case you are a victim of racism"?:rotfl:

Priceless and utterly pathetic at the same time!

I assume you don't fly "in case the plane crashes" and avoid crossing roads "in case you get knocked down".

I've read some nonsense on these forums over time, but this tops the lot.

I'm actually in an industrial town in India at the moment, which had an outbreak of bubonic plague 10 years ago, that I got to via a terrifying 5 and a half hour car ride from somewhere you wont have heard of , where the driver fell asleep on the motorway at 70, and later crashed us into a rock.

And I still havent been to Scotland. ;)

Well what would you accpet as evidence then. The cabinet secretary's investigation which concludes as much doesn't seem to be god enough. Shall I ring up gordon brown and ask him to have a webchat with you about it?

    What constitutes "evidence"?

An official enquiry by an independent person? Not according to you.
