ETA: welcome to Lily too :D wow having a big influx of newbies today:D as for the sick phobia...SNAP!! my desire to get up the duff was stronger though..luckily I only had nausea not full on chucking and I can deal with milky sick....but when it starts to get chunks in it...I'm not so sure_pale_

    Thank you! :)

Oh glad it's not just me then! :o

Yes, I can def deal with the milky sort of sick, I've had a baby be sick while on my lap before, and another weed on me!:rotfl:

Hmm not sure about the chunky type, guess I'd just have to hold my breath, it's the smell that's the worst! _pale_ And as for projectile, well...:eek::eek::rotfl:

Me too, I had to put it on mute and get DH to tell me when it was over. :o

Come to think of it, I'm not sure how I'll cope with poo either!:rotfl:

    Hello and welcome to FMOW!

Sorry to hear of the health issues your OH has, and I hope he gets a donor kidney asap!!

As for the sick thing......it's never really bothered me, unless it's others being sick. And even then, it's only if I get really close and the smell/noise makes me want to be sick too! lol. Although, after having my sister throw up all over my legs and feet one night (many moons ago and cue covert removal of top, without removing my coat, so that I could wipe her face and then my legs!!), I'm not so bad anymore.

Alcohol - the cause of, and solution to, all of life's problems! (this is a joke by the way, and apologies to anyone who may be offended by it - it's not the intention).

Ewww! My mate at uni was sick as a dog outside a house party once and I managed to clean her shoe that it'd splashed on  so I guess I can cope when faced with it. Trouble is, I put the cloth back on the sink, hope they didn't use that for any washing up later on!:rotfl:

It wouldn't have been so bad if I was a little drunk myself, but I hadn't had the opportunity to even have one drink before we left! Her and her friends were all working in London at the time, and I was in Kent, so I had been home to change quickly and then made my way to London. By the time I got there, they were all so blind drunk they needed to go home! :( At least I managed to get her out of the taxi before she threw up though!

    Such classy birds, we are!

I'm having a great laugh at the sick stories now... and feeling a little queasy if I think about them too hard! :rotfl:

I went to see Team America at the cinema (so no easy escape!) and the vomiting scene, which goes on for way too long, left me traumatised!

I love that alcohol philosophy, believe those are the wise words of Homer Simpson! :D

Confuzzled, we may well be kindred spirits, I hate bananas! They're just wrong! It's one of OH's favourite fruits so we always have to have them in the house and I hate it!

My OH will be totally useless when it comes to nappies, I don't think I'll be too bad with poo, but he'll be terrible!

About 2 years ago he walked in on me watching something about making babies and he went green at the word 'mucus', now every time I tell him something new I've learned about TTC he says, 'I don't want to know about any of that mucus rubbish... eugh!'... he's got a sensitive constitution! :rotfl:
