  • Anyway, back to WTTC...

I currently have a savings account into which I'm tucking away the odd few quid so that as & when we need to we can buy the essentials. My brother & his girlfriend has a baby girl a fortnight ago and they don't plan on having any more so things like cot, pram, etc can be begged / stolen / borrowed if need be. Also OH's parents have (at the last minute) given us £1,000 towards the wedding which, given that we've already saved & paid for the wedding, we don't need. So I'm going to try and persuade OH that we should put it into a maternity contingency account.

I'm having the implant out in December (ish) and will start to let my cycle regulate from then. My experience with the implant has been a bit up & down. Sometimes I go for six months or more without AF. Other times I'm spotting every day for a month. So I'll be glad when it's gone!

You know the best thing in the world? Chocolate brownie with a strawberry on top. And it's got fruit in it, so it's good for you :p

Well, I do have 2 older siblings who have plenty of stuff to hand down, but my other 2 siblings are also expecting this year so I think a lot of stuff will go to them. I don't know. It would be nice, but we won't count on it due to the logistics again. Some stuff would cost more to transport here than buy new.

The 1k present is nice, and a good idea for it to go into the maternity fund! I'm trying to save my money, but it's been a very difficult few months for us with family dramas requiring multiple, last minute trips home. Kinda eats into the funds a bit.

Would it be an idea to have the implant removed sooner, so that your cycles can regulate before you start TTC? Especially as it's been a bit annoying? I only ask as I know it can take some ladies close to a year to regulate again and I have no idea what is going on with my cycles at the moment.

CD2 here. Yesterday started off slow and painfree and ended up the opposite! But FF had my ov day as CD23 which only gives me a LP of 4 days this month! That's not good! I hope it resolves itself in the next couple of months.

The intention is to have it out in December. I understand where you're coming from, but we've (I say we...!) decided to stick with the original date. Then we'll go for 6 months or so of 'not trying, not preventing' while my cycle settles down. Psychologically I think it'd be easier not conceiving for 6 months if there's a 'reason' if that makes sense.

S0d what FF says - when do YOU think you OV'ed?

I am going to stay on both threads lol. I don't care too much that I upset 1 member by being there. It seem's to me that that 1 member would moan about absolutely anything. I think the person who we all need to look up to is deffo QQ as she has been at it the longest and has the best attitude. Even if anyone upsets her she doesn't let it show.
