My problem is that I thought I would do a weekly meal plan and budget for that. But I still end up with needing lots at the start of the month. Maybe I should just try next month, lifting just what I'm allowed for the first week, and only having that in my purse. Maybe I just need to be more organised. It would be lovely to get to the end of the first week having still got 180 pounds to last the month. Goodness, seems like such a lot, I should be ashamed of myself.

JackieG You know we are here for you when you need a moan. Hope it helps a wee bit when you decide to get it off your chest.

Well I have had a nice lunch out with a friend from work and a walk around the garden centre. It is lovely and warm here today and I have two loads of washing out on the line.

Tea will be omelettes I think as I feel tired today.

Have a good rest of the day.

NPM - Can't get a diagnosis as North Yorkshire (in my postcode DL) will not diagnose autism / aspergers in children over the age of 5, so I was told yesterday. Ho hum. Still I can call him that - least we're not likely to move again - yipeeeee!!

'scuse my language but !!!!!!?!:mad:
I've heard of not diagnosing BEFORE 5 but never after 5. What the hell is that going to achieve? Fight this as I can't see how that is correct.

Lou - Well done on what you did today :T

Rosie - All the Easter stuff has gone from my Sainsbugs :(

OK am going to bore you lot silly as I am quite chuffed with my first creation. Apologies for the pics as the dress was half wet (colour was rubbing off something shocking so wanted to give it a quick hand wash) and I have got to actually stitch the hearts on tomorrow. But here it is.......DD's first HM skirt :D

Bitsy That is soooo gorgoeus! I know my wee one would love it. You clever, clever lady. Be proud of yourself:T

I'm afraid I couldn't help myself. Had to give dh and the kids a lift to footy and as it is so close to Sainsbugs, just had to go for a look. The shelves where the reduced eggs had been were completely empty. But that didn't stop me. Oh no! I was on an egg hunt:rotfl:.
Managed to find 6 caramel eggs, 2 packs of milk and white choc bunnies ( 5 per pack) and a wee choc duck. All 10p each, so I paid the grand sum of 90p :D:D. Managed to get out without buying anything else so I'm a good girl really :A.

BTW, our 'visiting cat' has a new favourite snoozing spot in the garden. In the sun, under the raspberry canes.
I entirely forgot this and was happily watering the raspberries, and watered a very surprised cat:eek:!!! Haven't seen her move so fast for ages:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. I'm sure the squirrels enjoyed it as much as I did.

I HATED sewing for most of my life :o My mum held a small sewing class at home for me and my friends when I was a junior school and I found it boring as hell :o I never did any sewing, it was always a job given to my mum :o:o Not sure really what's come over me........I have bouts of these mad schemes so cross your fingers this one lasts. Mind you I shall be bricking it when I try and make something without my mum standing over me :o:o

Well done you :D Any word from H yet? x

ETA - yes you assume correct, it was my mums old sewing machine which she's given me. It's about 18 months younger than I am eeek!!! Still going strong, although can't say the same for me LOL
