Morning everyone
Been mia again due to not being able to post from phone, so have to turn computer on and dont get a chance to do this until late at night and dh is usually in bed. Have been reading most days. Lovely day here today again.
Am working tonight, am not really enjoying it but it gets me out of the house and talking to people. Managed to get some bargains yesterday, a lady who goes to my craft club raises money for a charity and was given a load of designer clothes and shoes(some ne ver worn) and both the clothes and shoes were in the right size for me so I had first pick. Got some nine west black wedge sandals for £10 and a pair of geox shoes both never worn. Also a lovely red dress. :j.
os today will be dw & wm. need to try and get out in the garden and cut the hedge. will be dog walking too and a bit of ironing.
uolypool - Hope dd visit goes well at the new school.
esmf73 - Can you not request that the LEA assess him?
loulou - sending ((Hugs))
Bitsy - Well done on the sewing. My machine just sits in the cupboard most of the time. Should use it more really.
Enjoy the rest of your day. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take Care.

Hi Everyone,
So I hit the ground running on Tuesday & completely overdid it, so Weds was a write off as I could barely move, must remember, baby steps lol. Have done a few bits today, breakfasts, packups,dw, watered veg patch & table garden. The nets from the front room fell down when I opened the curtains this morning so they went in the wash & out on the line but now I can see the windows need cleaning
think that can be ds's job this weekend. He is now on a revised timeable so has more time at home (just when I was looking forward to some alone time) but he  offered to do jobs that DP would normally do for me so I shall be taking full advantage
after he has done some revision of course. Dinner tonight will be baked chicken risotto using up all the bits of veg in the fridge followed by butterscotch AD that DD bought cos she fancied it. Freezers are full so hopefully will only need a small shop this week for fresh stuff, oh & cat biscuits as the ginger one has been reminding me very vocally a least every half hour this morning:rotfl::rotfl:.
Am off now to read the thread whilst waiting for a phone consultation with my doctor.
Hope everyone has a good day.
Hugs, spoons & hi5's as needed.

NPM - Can't get a diagnosis as North Yorkshire (in my postcode DL) will not diagnose autism / aspergers in children over the age of 5, so I was told yesterday. Ho hum. Still I can call him that - least we're not likely to move again - yipeeeee!!Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx
March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.0 -
that makes no sense to me....what are they supposed to do just flounder?
Why do they have a cut out age at 5?
DS was just over 2 when he was diagnosed but I know plenty of others diagnosed later.0 -

Well put! Exactly so - except my machine sits on the floor of the small bedroom - I MUST get myself in gear and use it!!!!
Topsy well done for your lovely bargains.
Jax DO take things carefully - you know it makes sense x
Hope everyone's well and hugs for those who need.
Got home from work early so I shall hoover through and clear the kitchen. I have only been home enough time to make a mess but not enough to have a thorough clean;) Maybe today's the day:)

UPDATE , have not long got back from the school. The verdict is she loves it:j:j.Added bonus is she is allowed to start on Monday .They had her timetable ready for her and she went into the form room with the tutor group she will be with .One of the girls she went to primary school with is in there so she knows someone. They have tagged her with 4 other people in the group to be buddies until she gets used to the school , at least one of them will be in class with her at all times .I went for coffee with the head whilst she went into a lesson with them and she was so happy when she came out.Went into the town and purchased her uniform and pe kit and picked up her Travel pass from Education Welfare so she has it ready for monday and to ensure her free school meals are transferred over from her old school. The only thing is she will have to leave the house half an hour earlier and will return half an hour later than she is now, but that is fine as long as she is happy and will be settled.Gosh I'm waffeling here.:oPaul Walker , in my dreams;)0

uolypool - glad your daughter liked it :j
well i dont know whats come over me... i have hoovered from top to bottom ,washing washed and dried AND put away! ds' bedroom is dustfree and tidy and now just about to give the kitchen and bathroom a quick wipe over... plus i spent 3 hrs in the sun  time seems to be standing still at the moment :rotfl:"I have learnt that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one""You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.”Maya Angelou0 -
Uolypool That is wonderful news! You have put a big smile on my face. This will be such a good, fresh start for her. And what a bonus, already knowing one of the girls in her class! Great stuff.
I have had an up and down sort of day. AF here for the past few days with a vengence! Not nice! Should have got up digging on the lottie but feeling too washed out TBH. Ordered myself a digging hoe thing which was recommended on the greenfingered board and gets amazing reviews on amazon. It should arrive 2moro, and all for just a tenner! So I will,be digging this weekend.
A lady came and bought 4 of my courgette plants, so that will be 4 pounds towards my hoe.
Just waiting for dd1 to come home from school, so we can have dinner..... cous cous with chicken and lots of veg. Yum!
May make up some butterscotch AD after as have a big 6 pint of whoopsied milk.
Spent too much money already this month. It's just what, the 6th, and I have spent around 140 pounds of my 240 budget!!!! Eek!
I do have quite a bit now in the freezer, but I keep doing this every month, sort of going mad when I get my money at the start of the month, then struggling for the last couple of weeks. I suppose it's because in those last couple of weeks I run out of stuff, and put them on the list for the start of the month, then spend loads in the first few days, and spend the rest of the month worrying about it!
Whoopsied easter eggs don't help though
. My friend was in sains today, and got a big lindt bunny for 10p!!!!:D I managed to resist, even when she told me all the eggs were down to 10p! Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...

Great news Uolypool.

esmf, can you not get one through the NHS in your area, or go for a private diagnostic? My DS was nine when his was finally done.
I have had some news which I am not coping very well with and want to run away. I will probably be back later for a moan. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your window
