    it seems pretty standard though

yeah it is........most people have received letters saying we are processing app and will let you know the decision in the next 15 days......something along those lines.....just didn't think that the letter we received indicated there was a possobility could get declined.

anyway i will fall off my chair if they open it with my credit score.....ha
  • Hi
Does anyone have a savings account or US dollar current account with Citi?
Just opened both, the US dollar account because we go to America a lot...says that you can use your normal visa debit card to access the $ account and the savings account.
Has anyone done this and is it easy to do?
    Cheers
Hi I opened a savings account but haven't tried the card yet, although my SIL opened a savings account and they sent her a card to go with it, (visa card) she doesn't have a current account with them, I don't actually know how this would work as when at an ATM it doesn't give me the option of accounts, so will just do online transfers between the two, hope this helps

  • Hi, if you have a sterling current account and a Euro or USD current account they only issue one card. You should contact them before you go abroad and they will switch the account that the card transactions will be debited to.

mine didnt mention any time scale as in 15 days, probably because they have got too many to sort and cant give a timescale
  • i recieved the same letter,i phoned them the next day and was told i had been declined..sorry,think its a standard issue letter,by no means an indication of if you have got the account ect
    wish you luck

This is the email that Quidco sent me after I sent them an email asking why i only got £1.00 instead of £50.00. The £1.00 is received in my account. Here is there reply.
    Sale Date: 2007-01-13 21:47:00
    Merchant: Citibank
    Sale Amount: 1.00
    Earnings: 49.00

    Hi Marcellep,

Thanks for your enquiry. Citibank haven't updated their cashback amounts past the mid-October point yet, so I'll put your enquiry on hold until they reach yours.

    Thank you for your patience,
    Stuart

  • sounds like quidco dont know what they are offering, as I didnt even get the £1 for the savers account apparently I opened the wrong account but I used the link from quidco which took me there, so it looks to me that some of quidco offers are a con,

Just had a credit alert thing from experian saying citi have been checking me out.

This was done before they sent the letter back with my id. Surely if they have done the credit check then they know if its an acceptance or decline at that time? If its a decline why not send my id back with a letter telling me.

am lost a little, why are Quidco offers a con? Have I missed something or do you know something that I do not know. I have never had any problems when it comes to Quidco. I have also got the money from them. Well sometimes it takes a few months but I always get what is due to me. I think its Citi that are messing quidco about, After all its them who is willing to pay the reward not quidco

Hi sorry but it seems that they dont track every click, I have done all my shopping with quidco since early jan 07 and its showing only 4 but I went to ebuyer twice and amounting to £35. and £119 yet there is nothing in the account and now have had to ask them where they are, and others have gone missing so I dont hold much faith with quidco at the moment, thats all,
