thought id ressurect this as im reminded of the social stirrers i got, were £8 down to £1 each, with 80 questions per tub and free delivery
im hoping to split them up, just a few per table and then sell the unopened on to make some pennies back, i didnt realise there were 80 per tub, i wont need that many!
another absolute bargain is the wedding cake! my sister offered to pay but i wasnt holding my breathe then my mum has turned around and said the chef where she works(naval base canteen) will do our cake for free,i wouldnt want them to do it for free, i want them to take care and im sure they will if theyr getting paid so hopefully im getting a 3 teir, mixed flavour cake in my own bespoke design to feed 120 for next to nothing!

Oh I do love a good bargain!

My dress is an Alfred Angelo, brand new on eaby - was £599, I got it for £100.
Photographer is a friend as is doing as a disc only package at a discounted price.
Cake is being made by my mums friend, she used to do it for a living until she took early retirement at the start of the year, but has said she'll still do mine!:j so that will be at cost.
Bubbles that look like champagne bottles from Poundland
Making my own Save The Dates in MS Publisher. May make the rest of the stationery as well.

I think that's it at the moment!

This is probably a silly question but I'm not very familiar with buying things from Ebay!! (I know I'm way behind the times hehe) When you buy a dress from Ebay are you buying them from a shop or from individual people?

How do you know if they are genuine?

Where do people find these wedding dress sample sales? I know I'm ignorant but I've never seen any advertising for it. :)

flickering ember, look out in your local bridal stores for their sales and you can search online for those in your area
    http://www.google.co.uk/search?source=ig&hl=en&rlz=&=&q=bridal+sample+sale+uk&aq=3&aqi=g10&aql=&oq=bridal+sample

dolly you have to be careful when buying off ebay as all three of those things you mention happen
firstly if its really really cheap and 'stock' photo(taken off original designer website) it will be a copy, especially if its posted from china, there are some uk based sellers though who still buy from china so you still need to be careful just remember if its mega cheap it will be a copy
dresses from normal brides, either from a change of heart or who have worn it will have real live photos of the actual dress, these should be the real deal but you still have to be careful they havent bought it from a chinese factory or the like, id get all the info you can about where they purchased it from
sometimes bridal stores in this country sell on ebay too
most important of all is to check the sellers feedback, make sure you have loads of original photos and you know where the dress is coming from
