My shoes - rainbow club ex-display shoes, but don't look like they've ever been tried on, price tagged at £79, bought on ebay for £13.99 inc postage. Tried them on with my dress and they just happen to be the perfect height.
Our wedding rings. We were originally quoted £1200 for both our rings from the shop where H2B bought my engagement ring. Mine had to be white gold 18ct to match my engagement ring, and shaped so I don't end up wearing my engagement ring as a knuckle duster and I got the perfect one for £400. H2Bs ring was easier. He maintained he wants silver (not silver coloured but actual silver) and we got a 6cm plain band from Betts metal sales for £14. I feel pretty bad about that and keep saying we'll get him a more expensive one and he keeps saying no, he likes that one!! :rotfl::rotfl:
My tiara was £5 or something silly like that from ebay. I tried on more expensive ones in the shop but they didn't look as good. I'd bought another one too that just looked wrong on me so I bought another and passed them onto my junior bridesmaids.
Veil from ebay too - cost £120 in the shop, got it new on ebay for £40. Could have got one for much cheaper, but I fell in love with the veil with crystal and pearl drops.
Bridesmaids dresses from this seller on ebay which were a bargain until my MOH lied about her dress size :rotfl::rotfl:
Junior bridesmaid dresses bought in the debenhams sale so cost £50 for the two of them. Then bought some ribbon and cheap but pretty ebay brooches to zsush them up a bit.
Major bargain was our venue. Saturday weddings are about £5k more than our Sunday package.
not as brilliant as some of the bargains you other ladies have found but I feel great about them.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
My best bargain was a boring one lol. We're having a garden party for our reception, so we needed some shelter for guests - either in the event of rain so the smokers would have somewhere to go, or in the event of loads of sun so people wouldn't get burnt (although it's starting at 6 - not sure that the sun will be too much problem). Due to the size of our garden we wanted a 3x6m 'marquee' - we didn't need side panels - if we had got one with them I think it would have made our garden look small. Anyway thanks to the Royal Wedding and everyone having garden/street parties Tescos Direct was selling 3x3m white gazebos (roof only) for £17. So we bought two, £34, and collected them from our local store when we were next out that way so free delivery. To buy a white/cream 3x6m gazebo you're looking at over £100.
Bargain!!
(Have also saved £20 on my shoes, £20 on MrD's shoes, £11.80 on our underwear... am just going to see how much we're saving by making our own invites and thank you cards

Oooh - I love a bargain!!
I've had quite a few so far - h2b's getting a bit worried at the amount of time I've spent trawling the net looking for bargains... Lol...
Alfred Angelo Dress in my size reduced from £1080 to £400
Managed to get shop to throw in a matching bolero which should have been £95 and I only paid £15
Got a tiara in shop reduced from £75 for £15
Changed my mind on tiara as I dyed my hair dark and needed something lighter - so bought a glitzy secrets tiara and 2 matching clips for £15 from ebay and should have cost £74 if I'd bought from store.
Got my 0.5ct diamond 18ct white gold engagement ring from ebay brand new for £200 and in store same ring is £499
Wedding bands brand new on ebay cost us £210 and in shop for same rings was going to cost us nearly £500!!!!
Got bridesmaid dress from debut in debenhams for £80 and then found out a few days later it had been reduced down to £52 so took it back and then bought it again at the lower price!!
Photographer from 9am until 8pm with unlimited shots and full access, plus free editing and special effects is costing us £300!!!!! So pleased!!
FIL is doing our wedding car with his merc which is the identical limousine version and colour and cream leather interior to the wedding car company who was going to charge us £400!!!!! He's doing it for free and the ribbon and bows for the car only cost £7!!
Did our flowers as artificial flowers and they are beautiful and instead of costing £320 they cost us £92.
Have loads more, but they're probably my best.

Got my dress for £90 in the monsoon sale.
40 invites off ebay for £27, including p/p. They were printed with the wording we wanted. I then spent £10 on craft items to jazz them up myself.
Sisters bridesmaid dress is free, her aunty in law is making it for nothing. My wedding cake (cupcakes) are free as lady at work is doing it as my pressie to me.
All coming together nicely & under budget.Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160 -

I've had a couple of bargains - we're not getting married til June 2012 and I was going to buy things as we go but have ended up with loads already cos I keep seeing bargains!
*I got my wedding shoes for £9.95 incl P&P from Amazon, plain ivory ballet pump type shoes that seemed at least double that everywhere else!
*My BM dress is an alfred angelo retailing at £180 which I got on eBay for £33 incl P&P
*My circlet was £27 from eBay when most places I found were charging at least £100. why circlets are so much dearer than tiaras defeats me but hey.
*Our invite outers and envelopes were £25 for 90 - less than half price in the sale in Confetti
*My jewelery was £14 for bracelet and necklace from eBay - look really blingy and expensive but I wasn't prepared to spend loads on a necklace I won't wear again (I always wear the same one
)
*a necklace and earring set for my BM's gift was £3.99 on eBay - costs around £20 in Debenhams
*my wedding ring (again eBay - I see a trend lol) was 18carat white gold with diamonds round half the band. £34.99 when cheapest I could find elsewhere was about £200 minimum.
think that's about it so far but hope to get more bargains as I go!carpe diem

wedding dress £65, wedding shoes £2.20 including postage (meant to have a small mark on but didn't) veil £1.30 tiara £4.99 balloons if you are doing them yourself £1.25 for 15 (12" helium or air) sarahsflowers.com and artifical flowers if your doing that.. cheap prices p+p is ok but better than buying individually. wedding favours are jewellery off ebay prices vary but starting off at 1p free del. not cheap tho for swazorski crystals. venue is the most expensive but church is a bargain at £150. will definatly save that photographer great find!!
Invitations are £13.99 for 40 off studio.co.uk (studiocards) lovely designs £5 postage whatever the item tho.0 -
