this is making me feel sick and angry, that pc stephen holt has a council house, owns the flat opposite and a big house in france
and another place in the uk also0 -
Well my BP monitor has just gone off.
Jackie....I'd guess it's the expectation these days of everything on a plate, which the tenants, in return, give absolutely nothing.
It's not so much the council housing that's changed. It's some of the people and their "rights". Unfortunately, this programme has provided nothing but the stereotype I outlined in my first post on the subject, with every "poor family" wanting something more, for doing absolutely nothing.0 -
Is there anyone on this programme (wanting a house/a better house) that has a job?
Why does everyone just expect everything to be given to them on a plate???OU Student! - ED209, SDK125, DSE212, SK124, DSE141, SD226, DXR222, DD303, DD307 = BSc Psychology0 -

Ha. By 8.30am, peace returns to the house as the kids go to school.
She, her partner and the two lads who have left school continue to sit on the sofa.0 -
It's not just programmes like this that angers me, It's the shear ignorance of some people who diss the people who have no choice but to live in a council house. I was brought up in one, I also had one of my own for 10 years, I am not ashamed, And yes I had a child, so big deal. I worked then finished due to personal reasons.0

Can someone tell me what happened to PC Holt, the blasted cat walked over the remote control so i lost the programme for a few seconds.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

This program is making me sick,
We are on the verge of the rented home we live in being repossessed because our Landlord can't pay the mortgage!
Hubby and I both work, have two children, don't claim a penny in benefits and never have and been told sorry when you get evicted WE MAY put you in a hostel but can't give you anything else..keep bidding.
We have savings which are paying for our family holiday in 4 weeks, which we work bloody hard for once a year and they said use that... to which I replied and **** £1500 down the drain which is what we will lose if we cancel the holiday! Money we have scrimped to save???
We didnt ask for this situation!
Just hope we have time to save another deposit after the holiday0
