Just popped my blood pressure monitor on, and have sat down to watch.

Seeing flat screen TV's, surround sound, partners not living there with them, and I'm most likely to see unemployed through choice, layabouts. And lots and lots of moaning their lot. Just got a feeling.

:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

How can someone treat children like that? They said she'd been on the waiting list for 15 years, so she's clearly been having more and more children despite knowing she is unable to provide proper living conditions for them! That is so cruel, what sort of person would deliberately make children live in somewhere so overcrowded?

Edit: £500 a month for that dump! I'm paying only slightly more than that for a lovely place in good condition in the SE, where on earth is he?

Cos that is their mindset, they dont see anything wrong, apart from the major wrong that the council are doing to them.

Cant believe the older ones are still there and not maybe sharing a private rent.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

makes me so cross. we struggle to make ends meet both working, would love another child but cant afford to move, so we wont.

Girl who goes to school with my daughter mum has 6 kids, just got keys to a brand new 4 bed, 2 bath 'social house' across from school, free school meal, free uniforms, drives a BMW... and i'm explaining to my 6 year old that we cant afford for her to have school meals like every one else....

I'd want more than £4k if I had a council tenancy to sell.

Edit: 93k households want to live in Sheffield? Wow. Have they been there? It's not very nice. I've lived there.

I'm talking to the TV now eg 'Well then you should stop breeding, you stupid woman!' I shouldn't watch these programs, they make me angry.

That's all that is available in my area at the mo, plus the sheltered housing that no one wants because the heating doesn't even work. So you've got people on waiting lists for years, yet anyone that comes along with 4+ kids walks straight into a new build house. Bonkers.
    Gone ... or have I?
