Bodyshop - HUGE GLITCH! [Still working 17/05/11]!!

I honestly don't know how they could be making money with 3 freebies, free delivery and discounts. They must have to pay UPS for delivery. I'm baffled
But, like you said they must know about the glitch for certain, I haven't bought from BS in years to be totally honest. Stopped using their products about 15 years ago....but this glitch has made me spend just under £50. I'm loving their stuff so far, think I'm going to come back to BS for bath, body and facial care.:):):)
I worked at TBS as an Christmas temp last year and was shocked at how much the items cost to make compared with the actual RRP - the bottle top on the shower gels costs more than the shower gel to make, yet these are £6 and the body butters only cost about £1 to make and are £12 - its crazy. I used my 50% discount on stuff when there and it was still really overpriced to me :eek:0 -

Which they may be - I hardly ever buy Body Shop at full price There really is no need to, with all the offers they have. Like the Argos catalogue, the 'list' prices are inflated so that there can be lots of 'reductions'.
If they are knowingly letting this glitch run, they are either a) happy at the profit they are still making (which I think must be scant) or b) trying to hook us in to new fragrances/products that they hope we will repeat order.
Either way, Ta very much!
Yep, Lush will not be getting my custom this month because I've spent my whole toiletries budget on Body Shop stuff!
I'm trying to not make a fifth order, the reduced price facial massage oil looks tempting, and I really want to try the coconut shine hair oil.....0 -

I spent my groupon instore yesterday. There was a promotion for free skincare when you spent £25 but the SA said I didnt qualify for that one with groupon as I wouldnt actually be spending £25. Maybe if spending over and above the groupon you would though. They had BOGOHP on selected bodycare, the butters and scrubs were included and the aromatherapy and hemp products. They had gift sets made up (which are not online) that included a few of the ranges (coconut, shea, moroccan spa, wise woman skincare) and these were roughly £50 worth of goods for £35-£40). They had buy 3 for 2 on a mix and match selection of small shower gels, mini body butters, soaps and 30ml hemp hand cream. I took advantage of the BOGOHP for two full size hemp and bought the Arber aftershave for my dad for his birthday after having a sniff at them all. It's lovely - I'd recommend it. The Kristna aftershave is lovely too but I think that has a slightly younger, fresher scent.0
