Everything was meant to be for gifts, but after smelling the banana shampoo and conditioner, i might just have to keep it for myself. Trying very hard to stay away from the BS site now, between this glitch, my groupon and other BS bargains i think i have enough to make up pamper hampers for all the females in my family. And a few bits for my DH.:)
The Banana shampoo and conditioner is DIVINE! Really good quality products.:dance:Quidco Payments In 2011 - £724.21
June: £43.15/July: £51.22/August: £90.60/September: £29.75/October: £284.07/November: £171.08/December: £29.220 -
Whoops - just placed order number 3 and playing with order no 4 in the shopping cart"A cat can have kittens in the oven, but that don't make them biscuits." - Mary Cooper

Plus ca change, plus c'est la meme chose.0 -

Would you recommend it for dry, coloured hair?Even time will never heal these scars0 -
Do you see how this so called "glitch" is making you spend more than you usually would have (my total is only £35 so far, which I wouldn't have spent!).
They're leaving this "glitch" for good reason ... you can bet they're still making money
PS. note that I am not unhappy about that, I can't wait to receive my stuff... the point is more they know what they're doing and word is getting around, they'll be making more due to this than they would have had it not been there!0 -

I honestly don't know how they could be making money with 3 freebies, free delivery and discounts. They must have to pay UPS for delivery. I'm baffled
But, like you said they must know about the glitch for certain, I haven't bought from BS in years to be totally honest. Stopped using their products about 15 years ago....but this glitch has made me spend just under £50. I'm loving their stuff so far, think I'm going to come back to BS for bath, body and facial care.:):):)Even time will never heal these scars0 -

Don't forget they are getting a lot of free advertising from this.
If they wanted to buy the advertising they get here it would cost them dear.
Also a lot of people will give stuff as presents at birthdays/Xmas so a lot of family members/friends are getting to try the products.
We stopped using their products when Lush became popular, but recently I've bought more BS stuff.think I'm going to come back to BS for bath, body and facial care.
Exactly.
Getting customer through advertising is really expensive.
This is a cheap way for them to get more customers.
I do take advantage of lots of offers but if a company (like a restaurant) gives me great service via something like Groupon then I/we will return at full price.0 -
I am deffo a returning BS customer, even if its full price now. I LOVE the smells and the body butters are just superb!! One of my medium Mango gift sets arrived and there was a tear in the box. The products were fine but I wouldnt be happy giving it to someone as a gift with a rip in it. I phoned up customer services and was offered either a refund or a replacement item, so I opted for the replacement item. I asked how I should send the damaged one back and was told that I didn't need to send it back and I should make use of the items!! Awesome customer service.0

They are only making money if their usual profit margins are ridiculously high. Which they may be - I hardly ever buy Body Shop at full price There really is no need to, with all the offers they have. Like the Argos catalogue, the 'list' prices are inflated so that there can be lots of 'reductions'.
If they are knowingly letting this glitch run, they are either a) happy at the profit they are still making (which I think must be scant) or b) trying to hook us in to new fragrances/products that they hope we will repeat order.
Either way, Ta very much!0 -
Ok, really have to stop now as no idea where I am going to put it all:eek:
Between this and my soap and glory haul from Christmas I'm good to go for yonks, both myself and presents:D
Big thanks to OP :T0
