You could have saved yourself "several impolite emails", and " 3 emails later " by just writing to them in the first place.

Congratulations on a positive outcome.0 -
as mentioned earlier-please tell friends family etc to not get involved with these companies! and its refreshing to hear that someone has recieved a refund? if possible would you show your bank statement here to prove this? sorry to be sceptical? thanks0

I too got my £74 back yesterday
I sent them a letter by recorded delivery 2 weeks ago
Initially I sent them numerous e-mails, threatened to go to the Ombudsman, etc but they wouldn't back down without it being put in writing
As a consumer purchasing anything over the internet you have a 14 day cooling off period, so don't let companies like this win !
Fight your corner and make sure any correspondence is sent recorded and keep copies of everything0 -
a word of caution on the refund i posted about earlier. santander anti-fraud have just stopped a transaction on my account. it looks like cashoomoney have tried to charge my card another £74 today.
i don't understand how they can choose to debit my account at will, obviously i wasn't so dumb as to apply for another loan through them.
i'm glad the bank stopped it and wouldd advise anyone who has used their 'service' to contact their banks, even if they have already been refunded.0 -
We have been using paymentasia plateform for our online payment since June 2010. Paymentasia use CASHOO has the merchant name appearing on our clent's credit card statement.
Late December 2011 we received a notification from PAYMENTASIA stating that they are changing their plateform and will be back online within few days (I have all exchanges e-mail in file). Sure enough, they did not got back online and further informed us that their bank in the UK refuse to pay them.
Then paymentasia sent us a press realease from the owner of the company, Kenneth Lai, stating he was traveling to UK to defend us and get us paid.
After many complaints to them and been asked to be patient and positive they informed us that our dues and regular payments would be back to normal at the beginning of February.
Nothing happened and they do not answer anymore to our message. Cashoo, from the beginning, remained silent.
They owe us over US$13,000.00. I am about to invite all our clients who paid us using paymentasia plateform and were charged by CASHOO to file a fraud report and dispute their charges.0 -
Have the scammers been scammed...i really hope so looking at the aboveIt is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0
