    Huh? In English please?

And the part I DID understand- doesn't matter if you get a new card- if the account remains open- they can take money from it. The whole account needs to be closed.

Cutting up the card and getting a new one doesn't stop them taking money.

Right an update, I've finally received another email from them, after I replied to their first one requesting they cancel my membership and remove me from their mailing lists, and it was the exact same email again!

I think it must be a standard email reply that they send out to everyone, because I bet every email they get is a complaint!

I have had this email three times now, I have posted 1 letter by recorded delivery and delivered one by hand but they are ignoring my emails. They seem very quick to take your money in the first place but not so good at refunding them. I am going to continuing emailing constantly and see where I get. When I went to their offices, they are not listed as a company that is in the building and I had to leave the letter with reception I did however get a piece of paper signed stating that the letter had been delivered, lets wait and see, I have also threatened them with the Financial Omdudsman
  • Finally got hold of a number that went through to somebody - try 0871 789 0120.

They also put me through to a lender so let's see what happens

    Who is this mysterious "Lender"?

Have you given them your bank details?
  • Im also in the same position here and i seemed to have made some progress.

I reported this to my bank (HSBC) as a fraudulant transaction and they refunded my money temporarily whilst they investigate this.

In the meantime i sent them emails and they simply copied and pasted the same reply so that was pointless.

I wrote a letter asking for a refund - its been around 2 weeks and NO RESPONSE

But they have responded to my banks refund request. They called me today asking me to sign a letter that they will email to me and to fax / post it back. By signing i will confirm that i dont want the bank to pursue the refund and they will refund me immediately.

I havent received the letter yet but i think i will let my bank deal with this. They seem to think it will take 6months for me to get my refund through my bank whereby i can get my refund immediately by cancelling the request.

I will keep you guys updated ...

yes!! at last someone who reads what we post..:T

the problem is that this company is related to ezeloans and they do not refund your money even after promising it!! no regard for the law whatso ever....sure i have been naive in using my card details online but distance selling regs are there to protect the consumer...but the fault is that this company doesnt comply with them what so ever...
and in these testing climes more people will fall prey to this scam...

    so please please please ignore

    power-loans

    ezeloans

    cashoomoney

    tell friends ,family etc etc

    thanks!!
  • hi,
for all of you waiting on the return of cashoomoney.co.uk's scammed cash, don't give up hope.
after several impolite emails they finally credited my account today with £74.95.
when i first realised my mistake and asked for a cancellation and refund they said they were within their rights and referred me to the terms and conditions. 3 emails later and after threatening further action they instructed me to send a written request. after 3 weeks and 5 more threatening emails on my part, i was told that my refund would be processed in 5 working days. i was expecting another protracted affair but was pleasantly surprised when i checked my account today.
as i bonus i have learned to always read the T&Cs so thank you cashoomoney.co.uk and good luck anyone still waiting.
