Right an update, I've finally received another email from them, after I replied to their first one requesting they cancel my membership and remove me from their mailing lists, and it was the exact same email again!
    Thank you for your email.
This payment you refer to was taken from your account as agreed as a one off joining fee when you completed the online application form at [link removed].
When you submitted your application you confirmed that you wished to join the CashooMoney.co.uk membership scheme in order to receive the great benefits it provides. The joining fee is clearly stated on the payment screen into which you entered your card details and also within the terms and conditions that you confirmed that you had read, understood and agreed to.
To access your accepted lenders, membership offers and discounts you simply need to access your online membership portal. Here is the link if you need it: [link removed]

You will have had your log-in details sent to you via email and SMS when you signed up. If you cannot find these please reset your password here: [link removed]

We are constantly searching for new lenders on your behalf and will upload all new lenders and offers to your portal for you to access instantly.
    Thank you for contacting CashooMoney.couk
    Regards,
    James@CashooMoney

I think it must be a standard email reply that they send out to everyone, because I bet every email they get is a complaint!

The second link is the exact same website with a different name, but what's the first one?

    • I needed a loan very quickly and applied thinking I would not be able to find one. CashooMoney.co.uk found me a Payday Loan and provided options for several other loans one of which I have since used. Very useful!

These are two quotes from each of the websites Cashoomoney.co.uk and Power-loans.com

    Surely this is illegal?

Never, ever, give these people your bank details. If you do, they are guaranteed to raid your account.
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.

Is there anyway I can stop them taking any more out? I rang my bank and they said it was an online card payment not a direct debit.

I just got some semi-good news, I got an email saying we're sorry you're leaving etc etc, and gave me a postal adress to send a written letter to request cancellation.
