End of the day, you signed up for something without reading the T&C's and also it seems without noticing the fee mention on the sign up page.
Once signed up, I guess they do exactly what they say, they offer you several offers, all of which despite being probably ridiculous are offers.
I'm not saying what they do is right, but they do what they say, take your money for membership and give you offers of loans etc...
At the end of the day on that basis they get away with it if you like, because you have agreed the T&C's and they have made you offers.
What you have missed as well by not reading the T&C's is that a monthly membership charge is also taken until you cancel.
Basically do as has already been pointed out, write recorded delivery to them to get your money back.
Then in future at least scan over the important parts of T&C's before signing up to anything (prefarably don't sign up for anything other than from well known established companies and research them beforehand if not well known) and never give card details/bank details to anyone who rings/texts you out of the blue or says it is just to verify who you are.
Finally it is not uncommon for companies to run several business under different names to offer the same services. In the past people who have tried to avoid paying back payday loan companies for instance have gone for another one from the same group of companies and have had money taken from their accounts.0 -

i bet Scotland Yard are winging their way to Cashoo HQ right now...
someone already said it, but make sure you post your letters recorded delivery, so they cant say they havent received it, also keep a copy for yourself for future reference.<insert super cool inspirational sig here>0 -
Right an update, I've finally received another email from them, after I replied to their first one requesting they cancel my membership and remove me from their mailing lists, and it was the exact same email again!
I think it must be a standard email reply that they send out to everyone, because I bet every email they get is a complaint!
Why are you emailing them? As Apples pointed out, as per the T&Cs, you must request cancellation in writing.0 -
I Contacted the police after speaking to trading standards as my information was passed to them through a third party. Contacting the police was adviced by Trading standards and yes i am new to this site but im obvs going to battle my case!0

Good luck with that, but as a Tax payer I would rather you didn't waste my money... Thanks.0 -

yes!! at last someone who reads what we post..:TIt is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0
