    Morning Troops

All the morning stuff done and the brood is out the door to school/nursery, everyone is out till 3.30 today so I have most of the day in peace.

Am still trying to catch up from camping and the bank holiday when I spent so much time in bed so I don't have time to do my declutter the house thing today, still haven't finished the littlies room and it is doing my head in, though they are keeping it fairly tidy. Hopefully next week will be back to that. So anyway less waffle and washing needs to go on, will be putting the airers in the garden though the sun still hasn't really reached it yet.

Also waiting for a MrT delivery today between 8 and 10am. Can't have breakfast till it arrives :)

Oh! and some oik has pulled my flowers up in the front garden and taken them  And I have burnt the peanut butter cookies :mad: The kitchen stinks

    morning!

day off:j I'm in need of it too:D

not going to spend it painting even though its in need of it. Dont want to spend my 1 day off doing that.

Plans are to spend this morning pottering about doing a few jobs then this afternoon I want to spend a bit of time in the garden, feet up with my book. I'm just getting into my Richard Montinari one and its looking good!:)

Dinner is sausage casserole for DH, DS2 and DS2sGF. I'm out at SW so will garb something later on.

DS1 is in his interview right now:eek: am really nervous on his behalf. Hope he got there ok, he was going by train as it looked an easier journery than trying to drive into Brum at rush hour.

Bit of a frost here last night so will pop out and check the garden shortly.

Have a great day all, will pop back later x

Morning ladies (and any gents).Hope all are well .
Took dd to drs yesterday regarding her being so low regarding school. She has now dropped down to a size 6 on the bottom half from a 10-12 just a few weeks ago and is now concidered underweight . He is concerned and spent nearly half an hour with us talking about what we should do .Ended the appointment with him insisting on writing a letter to the education board in favour of her move due to the impact the current situation is having on her.He is also referring her to a teen councillor so she has someone to talk to .So fingers crossed this will help. Her current school have authorised Friday morning off for her so we can go and visit the school she wants to go to, and have spoken to Ed welfare who have confirmed that as she is in reciept of free school meals should she move to the new school then she will qualify for a free travel pass to get her to and from the new school, hopefully school will just agree at the end of the day and allow the transfer.
Blinds came yesterday and are all up looking lovely.
Not to much going on today am feeling quite drained in general so think I will be catching up on a few winks soon, can hardly keep my eyes open.Dinner tonight will be lamb tagine with cous cous . First time making it so hoping it will work out ok.
Hugs for all have a good day:)

    Morning

Nice and sunny here but a bit chilly but should heat up nicely. According to the forcast it's the last sunny day here for a while rain due tomorrow :( Shame really as going for a nice long lunch with friends tomorrow and we were planning on going somewhere we could sit out and enjot the sun. Ah well never mind we will still have fun.

WM is on and another is on the line. I am sat here watching wife swap usa and one of the wifes was trying to get the other house to hang their washing out rather than use the TD the guy flipped saying how dirty it was and was such a shame the other wife couldn't afford to TD her clothes :rotfl:. I must be mad then cause I love to hang my washing out and hate having to use my TD.

Need to food shop today and a general tidy around.

    Have a lovely day everyone.

Frightened DH by cooking him breakfast ;) pastry is defrosting so I can make a huge quiche later, carrots are peeled ready to make soup and maybe coleslaw later.

Started to take down one of the heavy curtains ready to replace curtain rings with proper brass ones only to find the curtains do not have a heading tape- previous owners had just pushed curtain pins into the material

Looks as if my project over the next few days is to buy heading tape and hand sew two pairs of curtains - Oh Joy!

Don't get me wrong , I enjoy hand sewing now and again but would rather it had been my choice.

    Uolypool

Hope things work out for your daughter.

Good luck with the outing to the park and don't push SOTD into the duck pond, you'll scare the ducks ;)

    Hugs
