    Good morning all

Managed to get back to sleep again after Dollycat's 4.30 call....woken by DH at 6.30 wondering where she was! Under the duvet at the bottom of the bed was the answer after he had searched the house.

Cheapskate well done on the interviews.

Not working today so will make soup for lunch and quorn curry for tea. DS will moan as he loves chicken. Both DH and DS are doing "healthy eating" and have each lost about 1 stone. DS went to gym last night. DH is going up and down the stairs to his office instead of using the lift. Me? Can't give up the naughties. I am most impressed that they are refusing lunchbox biscuits even and DS has rediscovered the fruit bowl....

Lovely and sunny here-haven't ventured outside yet but hopped out of bed and put the washing machine on. Dolly is back out again and I am in bed with the lappie.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Molly

Hope you and Mooloo have a great day- you both deserve it.

Woke up early and having a pot of tea and browse on laptop before stripping bed and putting duvet cover etc in washing machine. Want to have a nice long shower and shampoo once DDs are all gone off to school and work. It seems strange now oldest has gone back to Oxford after having ten days here.

The chicken stir fry with noodles seemed to go down well yesterday and I might make carrot and coriander soup tonight to use up some veg and get used to new food processor. If I can get myself in gear I might make quiche to use up bits and bobs in the fridge.

I was shocked how fast the big shop I did in Lidl last Friday was being used up but then realised we had six adults at home having three meals a day. Sainsburys have a new leaflet out on feeding four people three meals a day for a week for £50 but on closer reading quite a few of the breakfasts were toast and jam, no choice of cereal and less milk than I go through so I don't feel too bad about my shopping bill. Some of the meals look quite nice so I might look them up and try a couple but know I will have to add loads of extra veg etc. to bulk it out to feed five adults.

I am tempted to order more noodles etc from approved food but know DH will groan in despair when he sees the box arrive - think it is worth his muttering as I save so much money when I use them.

I feel tired just reading about your painting plans so please pace yourself and don't overdo things;) If I can tackle the two pairs of heavy curtains in the living room later and replace curtain hooks so they hang better I'll feel as if I did a lot. Struggling with the superking mattress and then doing a load of cooking feels like plenty to handle for today.

    Hug to all

    Morning all!

Sun is shining and I'm off work today, yippee! Today's jobs will involve a potter round the garden, faffing about and sorting some bits out, nipping into town to pick up something for dd3, remembering to collect dd1 from her revision session this evening, cleaning, hoovering, dw, wm, bm, baking something nice as treats, S&S kitchen and bathrooms, and having a looksee at flylady tasks!

Was silly busy at work yesterday, been ridiculous for a while now, must be all the holiday makers stocking up when they arrive, though there do seem to be a lot of familiar faces, don't think these peeps have heard of the grocery challenge lol! Might have a few converts though with the way prices seem to be rising, when even basic value butter has jumped in price, and nappies and heaven knows what else!

Anyway time for a cuppa and catch up, have a good day all xx

Good Morning, i've just noticed what date it is today.
After all the celebrations we've just had for the Royal wedding, i wondered if some people would be having more parties today. Isn't it Starwars Day.

    Morning all.
    Beautiful day today again.
Then into Iceland to try to find Stardrops. Looked in Poundland, Home Bargains (had the spray bottle for 99p, but that costs me about 10p to make myself!), none there, or Tesco or Wilkos either. I know I can get it in Asda, but I begrudge paying 1.53 for it!
Then off to the mechanic as car is making a funny noise, nursery, allotment, back to nursery, dinner, Arabic class for little one. And a few more things besides.
Just heard dh up, so better go and get some 'proper' coffee on for a wee treat. I will check in later.
    Have a good day all.

    Morning All,

Well done on the job offers Cheapskate and good luck to those looking or having interviews.
I am looking at the moment but struggling to even find anything to apply for. Anyway most of today will be spent looking and hopefully applying for jobs.
Molly have a nice day out
JackieO hope you get the porch finished.
No washing today so will have a quick swish and swipe after breakfast and then on with the job search.
Having real problems with a stiff neck and shoulder at the minute, don't know if its my pillows, the bed or what but this is about the 6th day and its driving me mad:cool: having been using a heated wheatbag, taking ibrufen and DH has been rubbing it with ibrufen gel but no improvement yet.
Tea tonight will be meatballs and chilli out of the freezer. It's first come first served as there is not enough of either for everyone but together they should feed everyone. Will do rice and garlic bread to go with it.

Everybody off to work and school, so off for a nice peaceful breakfast.

Have a good day all x

Miecherox, know how you feel! i don't seem to have enough time to get on here lately. Good luck with the job and the move.

Morning all hope everyone's well. Lovely day but I'm still not feeling summery! My chilli plant is doing okay, but the tomato seeds don't seem to be doing anything at all!
I'm actually not sure what to munch for breakfast, but will be taking yesterday's pack lunch that i forgot to uni today and making a batch of healthy chilli for dinner.
After I spend god knows how long finishing a report for uni today (i just can't do a half baked job so i'll be at it until dark!) I need to give the bathroom a mega clean, change the sheets and tidy up.
