I think your URL address is wrong.

Having uploaded the image to the Photobucket or Flickr site or wherever, all as per their instructions, then when it has uploaded, do a 'Right Click' on it and look at its Properties in the little Window that will pop up. You can then get the URL address from that.

Then use MSE's little 'tool' thus: insertimage.gif and stick the image's online URL address in there.

Yes, thanks. Someone sent me a PM and suggested this very thing, so at least I know how to get the image into a post for future use, rather than a link for it. However, having said that, the image was so big that the link may have been more suitable for this instance. Thanks for your help :).

Bloody LTSB! I've just checked my Incentive Saver to see if any interest's been paid, which it hasn't, and when I clicked on the "view interest rate and account details" button it's showing a 0% interest!!??

I've just 'phoned them and they said they're aware of a glitch as it's a new account (!?) and they're working on it. They said it should take about a week to sort out (a week, good grief). Apparently, it's only affecting some customers, not all. I'm about to work out what interest I should be getting, and they'd better not be a penny out when they pay it - eventually! I'm fed up with this bunch of bankers!

Does anyone know when the monthly interest should normally be added to the account, either end of month, beginning of month? The person I spoke to on the "help" desk didn't know, and it doesn't say on their conditions, apart from being paid monthly.

Interest is paid every month from account opening. So if you open on the 14th, interst is paid on the 14th of each month in the year.

After the fiasco today, I'm not 100% confident that they've "re-configured" their programme for this version of the Incentive Saver so as not to deduct any interest earned if a withdrawal has been made (which I know should only be for earlier versions of this account). Has anyone made a withdrawal from this account yet, and still earned interest?

i thought that too, but strangly my first interest was paid on 7 june when i opened the account on 28 april??

can any one check that its paying right, as this is what i have paid in, is it the right amount of interest:

28.4.11 opened and paid in 1211.42
7.6.11 interest paid 3.35 so new balence 1214.67
    13.6.11 paid in a further £660 so balence 1874.67
28.6.11 interest paid of 2.34 so balence is 1877.01
    MFW#105 - 2015 Overpaid £8095 / 2016 Overpaid £6983.24 / 2017 Overpaid £3583.12 / 2018 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2019 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2020 Overpaid £2583.12/ 2021 overpaid £1506.82 /2022 Overpaid £2975.28 / 2023 Overpaid £2677.30 / 2024 Overpaid £2173.61 Total OP since mortgage started in 2015 = £37,286.86 2025 MFW target £1700, payments to date at April 2025 - £1712.07..

Looks about right. At 3% AER would expect (net) interest to be £3.14 and £2.29 whereas you got £3.35 and £2.34.

Did you mean £3.25 interest by the way not £3.35 otherwise your balance would be 1214.77?

How was the opening payment made? Was it by cheque or by BACS from an external account? If so, they may be counting the start of the interest month as whenever the first payment finally cleared. There were two bank holidays after 28 April which would have delayed the clearance process.
